You can "cheat" Redd. The day he shows up, buy art. Save, quit. Change time to 5:59am. The new day is 6am. So just wait out that minute. He is in the plaza, but doesn't open til 10. Save, quit, reset to 10am. His selection changes. Repeat as many times as you want. But, you have to go back to 5:59 and let the game restart at 6, and the one you ordered will be in your mailbox. Those statues are so hard to find. I played since the game released and finally just finished my museum last month. No, I didn't do this cheat, I read somewhere to do it for Gracie's challenge (but you don't have to jump time forward again with her, she is in the town at 6am). I tried it with Redd, and it worked, he changes his inventory. Yes, mark up is high. I have mine set at 200-300k. If interested, they are in my Re-Tail for verify authenticity.
