Does anyone watch this? I have heard of it and seen previews (I watch Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries and have seen it's previews) and I thought it was just about an archer, but then I just saw a preview and the guy called him Oliver, and i was like no... could it be... Oliver Queen? (I am a Smallville/Superman FANATIC) and I just googled it and the show is about Oliver Queen!
So point of the thread, is this show any good? Do you guys recommend it? I do need a new show to watch.

I watch it very infrequently, like if my brother's watching it on TV and I happen to be around.

The BEST show on TV imo. The season finale was tonight. It broke me. I just couldn't. Aside from NCIS, it's the only show I watch religiously.

Also, if you couldn't tell, I'm quite the Arrow fan.

Yea I'm more comic based too, which is why I loved Oliver in Smallville. But once school is officially out (1 more week!!) then I might start Arrow!

Smallville really wasn't true to the origin story of Superman. It took its liberties. Same thing with Christopher Nolan's Batman. Arrow is done well without kicking mud into the face of the DC Comic fans. It's great. (Unlike Iron man 3 :| ) And technically, Stephen Amell is blond.

Also, in terms of Green Arrows, my list would be 1. Stephen Amell 2. Kin Shriner 3. Justin Hartley 4. Alan Tudyk

As much as I love James Arnold Taylor, I did not really like the Brave and the Bold's Green Arrow. he was too cocky and arrogant and really didn't seem like Green Arrow to me. Alan Tudyk would have to take fourth because I loved him in Young Justice and in Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Yeah you're right, maybe the differences were just more obvious to me in Arrow. (I really don't know anything of Superman's life as a kid, so it seemed more correct? Excluding the fact that he fought all of his enemies before he was even Superman, that was the biggest error I ever noticed)

When I started Smallville I instantly knew Clark's parents, Lex, Lana, ECT, and Clark already looked like Superman in a way. Where as Arrow I didn't know anyone, anything going on (excluding the island he was stranded on but not the alleged events that happened there), Oliver didn't look like Green arrow to me, and I just overall felt lost and like I was watching a different superhero.

Don't get me wrong though, I really enjoy Arrow, it's finale was amazing and I'm going to continue watching it but who knows, maybe now that Oliver's mother was arrested, he can live alone....with his sister...

Hmmm all good thoughts to ponder... I just loved Smallville so much. Especially Oliver Queen in it. I will probably like Arrow, too! Just because I know it's different.

I've heard great things about it, but don't watch it. The only show that I currently keep up with is Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous, which is written by and stars one of my favorite comedians.
