Hellos!

How do you guys arrange your fruit trees? In orchards? random scattered everywhere? Lined up? Currently, I don't have many fruit trees in my town because I have no idea how to set it up to make it look neat. I tried lining them up side by side (apples, cherries, peaches, etc) but it just didn't look nice to me in my town. I only have non-fruit trees and cedars in my town right now. I think i have 5 fruit trees in my town in a corner by my house solely for the purpose of fufilling villager requests.

Pictures always nice!

I do orchards. I usually do trees 3 x 3 in a color coordinated fashion. Since planting 4 x 4 or more will result in a tree not growing, 3 x 3 is better for me

I had orchards, but one day, I decided to renovate and chopped down every tree. Now, I have trees lining villager houses, 1 space away. It looks really nice. Each house is like a little grove.
It really made room for pwps and flower patches, and stump groves everywhere. c:

I use to have several large orchards around my town but I then condensed a majority of them to one small orchard containing one of each fruit tree. Minus my perfect pear since they get their own large orchard, and cherries cuz those are also my income and town theme, so they're planted all around town to make it pretty looking.

I have three orchards located in different places on my map- regular fruit and persimmons in the north, island fruit in the southeast, and perfect cherries in the west (where my park's located).

Unfortunately, though, I never thought to take pictures of them.

There's too many fruits to do small orchards (orchards of the same fruit) , so do you guys only have selected fruits?

I built a large orchard of perfect apples, something like 12 trees
The a few small orchards non-native fruit are all multi-fruit
Honestly I haven't bothered with tropical fruit, except on the beach of course :)

Oh, I lied. I have one orchard, my perfect apple orchard. It's built on a narrow strip of land, between the tracks and a river, so no one can move in and demolish half it. It's 28 trees in total, and I'm too lazy to pick them all. -_-

I tried to have 3 of each tree incorporated into my town. I have them scattered everywhere, but in groups of the same fruit. Each group is a little different, depending on where it is though. Sometimes there are more trees, depending on how I was landscaping that area.

For example, on the beach, I have many many coconut and banana trees. I tried to put them in as neat of a line as I could, following the curve of the cliff behind them. Some of my trees are around a particular PWP, so for example the lighthouse has 4 peach trees, one on each corner and then red hibiscus bushes in between, kind of used it to create a little divided area for the lighthouse. I also planted orange flowers in there, so I considered the color scheme of the lighhouse, the peaches, and the orange trees. The bushes aren't always in bloom, but I still considered them too. I think when they were in bloom, it was a cute little spot.

Another spot is my hammock. I planted persimmon trees around it, and planted yellow lilies and yellow hibiscus bushes. It's ver serene and peaceful, because of the yellow, and it doesn't class with the persimmons.

I have sort of a little orchard-y area, with mangoes, lemons, lychees, and durians. It's not big, but it's still so there are 3 of each. I planted them in a little rectangular shape, then chopped down a couple in the middle, to make a hole, where I placed a ring of mushrooms. It's something you wouldn't necessarily know is there unless you were looking for it. So it's a secret little fairy ring, which makes me happy, and also got me something to do with those fruit trees. If you stand in the middle of the ring though, and push up, the trees disappear and you can see the mushroom fairy ring. :)

I ended up planting some more lemons by merengue's house. At first I planted them just so I could chop them down with a silver axe and have some cute designs stumps there....but it looked really pretty to me for some reason, to just have those 3 lemon trees standing there. It's weird cuz I thought lemon trees were so boring, until I saw those 3 simple ones put together in that spot, somehow they looked very charming. And I thought Merengue could make some lemon merengue pie or some lemon cake or something. XD lol I'm sure she loves all the fruit in town.

OOH, I just realized, I wish there were strawberry trees! Wait. Strawberry bushes? Um...well, whatever, if my town fruit could be strawberries, I'd die of happiness. :D

At the moment, I just use fruit trees to border buildings or I have small patches of them in specific places. I have Cherry trees bordering my Town Hall, Perfect Peaches bordering my Re-Tail, Regular Peaches bordering my Campsite and I have a small patch of Lemon trees behind my Police Station. Still debating on where to put the rest of my fruit trees lol :)

I have every fruit tree bordering the train tracks and one full set bordering my town hall from behind. Once I replot all my villagers (again), and clean up my town, I'll prob do groups of 3 in dif areas.

I place mine randomly. Usually I'll plant three at a time, though, so they end up close together unless there's not enough room in that spot.

I used to arrange them all in a nice neat little grid but then I realized it made my town feel too rigid. Right now I have them lining some of my paths alongside bushes. Aside from that I plant them randomly, I think it looks a lot better, more foresty~

I have a little Orchard with a path (in the making) running in between. It consists of a zig zag pattern with a max of six/seventrees being used (at the moment it consists of three) and runs along my western cliff leading to my beach slope;

x___.
..___x
x___.
..___x
x___.

Something like this ^^^^ (x = tree ___ = path)

The trees are still growing but it looks nice. I'm also planning to create a Cedar tree pathway as I've seen some gorgeous ones in real life and want to recreate them in my town ^_^
