Had this idea since launch but could never seem to arrange the right villagers. Theres obviously Ankha for Egypt/Nothern Africa, and Apollo for the United States, as well as several Asian themed villagers such as Pekoe and Kabuki, but that kinda sums it up for my mind. Savannah and Boone would make good additions but then there starts to be a surplus of African themed villagers. And like, what do I even do for Europe?

Im not very knowledgable on villager design origins (I had no idea what a mandrill was until I did some research on Boone) so Im asking if there are any other villagers that could represent areas of the world. Thanks!!

Klaus is dressed in roman attire and has roman themed house, while Vic is a viking so you could do both of them for Europe.

There's a couple of French named villagers, like Cousteau and Jaques. Other than that, I'm not sure for Europe.

Adding onto what pinkfawn said marcelo is mime, so he fits well with being a french character.

Well you can take your pick for Australia with the koalas or kangaroos. Erik would be really great for Canada. Curlos for Mexico. Just keep in mind which countries/continents you want represented because you only have 10 spots

I like the ideas so far! Definitely didn´t think about Canada and Mexico bc I was so fixated on the US.

Only having 10 slots is definitely the challenging aspect, as I would want at least 1 for each continent, then probably using the last 3 on another Africa, Asia and South/North America villager

For Asia, Pekoe really fits with a Japanese aesthetic. Blanche would also be a good pick.

Erik for Scandinavian.

Gaston works for French although Cousteau is even better. Jacques too although again I think Cousteau fits better.

And obviously a koala or kangaroo for Australia...

Colton or Elvis could represent England since they give western fairytale vibes. And Lopez or Curlos could be spanish or from a spanish speaking country. Chadder could be a cute choice for Italy since he looks like cheese (and the game has a leaning tower of pisa item so it could help make a little italy), and Margie's Japanese name references Indian clothing though it doesn't show in her english name.

oooh why?

this is from the acnl wiki:
Jitters seems to be a representation of the Latin-American culture, especially Brazilian culture, as he wears a Soccer Tee (which resembles the Brazilian soccer team uniform), has K.K. Samba playing in his house (Samba is a popular musical style in Brazil), and has the coloration of the Brazilian flag. His name refers to "coffee jitters" - a side effect some experience after drinking coffee (Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer)

You could represent Antarctica with a penguin! Hopper is a good option since the wiki says his design is based on the macaroni penguin, which live in Antarctica.

Kyle is based off of an african wild dog, Beau and Lopez are based off of an antelope, and Zell a gazelle! All would be fitting for a safari/African wildlife theme! (thought Beau's house is a log cabin and the inside gives me rural American country vibes >.> )
