I've hit it accidentally too. I heard the new 3DS's power button will be seperate from the start button, like they had on the old one

Doesn't the 3ds go to the software close screen though as a warning? How did you still click it and power down?

Technically it's been out since October for Japan, and Australia I think is getting the new 3ds this month. No official news on release for NA/Europe yet unfortunately.

No, if you're playing the game and hit the power button (instead of the start button), it goes straight to the home menu.

Thanks for the 3ds info. I currently use my son's, but I've been wanting one of my own. I'll look at the new one and see if I'm willing to wait.

Oh ok! I was confused for a moment lol. That sucks though, but at least there wasn't anything major right? Unless you spent hours playing and didn't save anytime in between

No problem I usually look at unboxing videos to see if I like the design and stuff, so you can always look at those and decide which is better for you. I am usually the person who goes with the cheaper the better though lol

Not too bad, but I had just gotten the cabin table from a villager, and I've been looking for it for awhile. Oh, and Katie was in my town. Now I can't find her, but still hoping she's around.

It's very annoying, though.

I hit accidentally once and it was annoying since I'd had a good day in my town and I'd forgotten to save.

I have a 2ds and the worst feeling is accidentally pressing power off when i'm moving in bed (happened last night, lost 3 hours of setting up a camp site v~v)
