if you just built the bridge, I would just move it >.> the cobblestone bridge isn't terribly expensive considering how easy it is to make bells off the beetles on the island. If things just don't work out, c'est la vie...

This is what worries me about having all four characters now..since I can't plot reset. If I didn't plot reset Erik would've destroyed my perfect orange tree path + bushes RIGHT infront of retail.
So someday when I get another villager, I just know they'll move some where very inconvenient..

Like they said, I'd build a new bridge since it's one of the cheaper ones, just hopefully you didn't lose any hybrids at least ; x;

I just had this happen in my town. I do plot reset so I was able to decide if I wanted it or not. It was a villager I wanted badly so I accepted him and just repositioned my bridge. I still miss the perfect placement of my old bridge but I am getting used to the new path.

At least you got a tier 1 villager >u<..but yeah I hate when that happens ; u ; Like Diana moved into that same general area as yours in front of the bridge, then Lolly moved in right on the other side of it

Not to terrible, Atleast you didnt have a path system and the bridge can be rebuilt, it is still annoying, I have merengue move in front of my town hall- sighs x;_;-
It isnt to terrible but it could be in the area where I have my 9 villagers ;_;

I decided to redo my town because the layout was driving me crazy anyways. (Retail shop was in the far left corner and the town was only a week old so no major losses ) I got a new map but wondering where the best places to put the bridges are. Any advice?

If You dont do island, I suggest putting the retail as close as possible to the train station ^^. Thats me though.
I would move the current bridge over to the right a bit( maybe just right of the townhall, another bridge on the corner and the last bridge near the beach)

If you can aline it with the train station going to the plaze, near the beach, and aline another bridge with the retail

Hahah i have that all the time, that is really stupid if that or something similar happened but i just simply change my town's layout when it happens! I do not use the plot reset thingy because i do not know how and i do not want to lol.

Oh gee.... was she a random move-in or voided villager you picked up by accident? Next time try plot resetting method to avoid situations like this (when you know you will be getting a villager move ins).. When I was new and had my old town and I had Biskit move right next to a bridge too.. and some voided villagers moved in horrible spots so I can relate ;__; (I learned that lesson hard way xD) hope you can make things work out >.<.. good luck!
