Does anyone have a town where all their villagers are grouped together, preferably in a vertical kind of way? It doesn't have to be perfect lines, but just having them all together generally?
I have this one long stretch of land going from the bottom left of my map up to the top (so that the waterfall is at the top left of my town) and I wanted to have all my villagers live along that section.
Could I dream visit anyone's dream town where you have your villagers all in one area?
I generally just let mine move in where they do, haha. Most of my villagers moved next to each other in a long line, then there's cranky Bruce who moved in at the very edge of the town, away from anyone else... And Chester, my lazy, who moved in right next to the Caf?
I have two streets in my town. They are horizontal but at least you can see what they look like lined up. Purrl will eventually move and I have a spot next to Fauna I'm reserving for the last house. DC is in my signature.
I have two neighborhoods -- one is a long peninsula across the bottom, with 4 villagers, then there's the western cliff settlement. The first 7 did that all on their own, since then I've been moving everyone else in to keep the neighborhoods. Just need puck (my streetpassed surprise) to get out and then all 10 will be in the two neighborhoods.
I've got a little neighborhood going on of four villagers to the right of my town, but everyone else is pretty scattered. I think Colton's got one of the best spots in town, though. He's right by the waterfall overlooking the ocean.
Along the cliff overlooking the ocean portion somd of my villagers are pretty much perfectly lined.
It goes from left to right: Octavian, Zucker, Katt, Coco, Apollo. The rest are on the upper portion of my town.
I have a few of my villagers grouped together on the right side of my town, but they're not lined up. It looks really nice though with the landscaping.
Most of my villagers are on a strip of land at the southern edge of town. They're not lined up perfectly, but I think it looks good. It's like a long street that's intersected with a road that leads to the cafe, the beach and a bridge to Re-Tail
Mine used to spread everywhere, but now with my public works projects blocking most spots in my town they tend to group together when someone new moves in. Which I kind of like since it seems the ones that live next to each other are really good friends. They're always having conversations and at each other's houses. It's cute.
I have a few horizontal groups where my more recent villagers have move in. Tangy was a starter, and Mott and Chief moved in a long time ago via street pass, so they're on their own. It isn't quite what you requested, but maybe my layout could still be inspiring?
My alt town has all villagers along the south cliff of my town with the river running straight along behind their houses. ~ though I think when I last updated that dream town Pinky lived on her own above the river, and now Buck escaped and has moved up there.
My main town I am currently resetting to get my 7th villager in the bottom right corner of my town. And hopefully by the time I TT it up to the actual date I'll have an 8th living there. ~ But the 2 living elsewhere are never leaving my town, so that'll be the limit.
