I need a Time Traveller!

I just bought a Dreamie and want to do the villager reset trick to place his house tomorrow AM, but I think all the turnips I bought this morning will rot! I didn't know my dreamie would be available or I'd have gone without turnips, as it is now, I'm in a bind!

Can you help me?

TTing backwards does make turnips rot.

Backwards definitely rots them! I don't TT really but if my baby doesn't go to bed before the shops close (lol) I usually reset the time back an hour or two to get shopping done, but I know I can't with turnips because whenever I forgot in the past and did so, they instantly spoiled ;_:
