Are your dreamies generic?

Recently I have been bitten by the "popular villagers are way cooler" bug, but then started to revert back...now i even am considering trading Chrissy for Carmen (cannot decide)... So are your dreamies popular or not

I try to limit how many from the top 2 tiers I get. In fact, I am considering swapping out Merengue so I can get Monty as well.

I get who I want, but try to limit the amount of ones who are also popular (Such as Julian)

I used to stray away from tier one villagers since I never thought I'd be able to get them, but now I've got Stitches, Rosie, Lolly, Diana, and Bam, and I love them all. I've got tier five, four, three, two, and one villagers, so I guess they're partially generic, and partially not.

Celadon - Mostly tier fives/fours with no tier ones, so I'd say non generic.
Chrome - Four tier ones and two tier twos, pretty generic.
Floralia - ???

I mean, I've seen a lot of people with the same villagers but I'm not getting them because they're popular. Either I look for them because I love how they look or they stumble in my campsite and I like them so I take them in.

Eh kinda.
All my dreamies across both games range from Tier 1 to 4 I think, so I try to keep my group unique.
Most Tier 1's I hardly like in the first place anyway.

Some of mine are extremly popular like Merengue and Stitches. Some of mine are sort of in the middle like Coco, Tangy and Kid Cat. I also have some lower tier ones like Frita and Cube. So I usually have a mix, based on my own personal opinion. ^.^

If you like a popular villager, go for it. It really shouldn't matter what tier of villagers you get. Heck, have one whole town of tier one's if you want xD. If you see a villager you like but chose to not get it because its popular, is pretty stupid.

I like them all because of Wild World though. I didn't know they were popular until I got New Leaf.

Most of my dreamies range from Tier 2-5 with a select few being from 1-2. I dunno, I'm personally not a huge fan of the more popular villagers.

The only dreamie of mine that's popular in any way is... prolly Marshal. The rest are below tier 2 or tier 2 exactly.... Though I think I'm the only person who's top of top dreamie is Robin.

idk I guess?? who cares about whether or not they're generic though, if you like certain villagers, then get them?? I mean the popularity chart is really only for trading purposes imo...

Also, for your issue, I've had Chrissy in my town and frankly I didn't like her much.
Her face seems to lack detail? Whereas Carmen is one of my fave bunnies, so in your shoes I'd go for Carmen.

Bunnies like Carmen and Bonbon are so much cuter than Chrissy and Francine, imo. Are my dreamies generic? I don't have dreamies.

Personally I'd say get Carmen (I've had her since August and I love her) but if you like Chrissy more keep her, who cares if lots of other people like her too? xp
I have a few popular villagers in my town but the only one I actively sought out was Julian, so I guess part of my town is kinda 'generic'. However I've yet to see another person with Peewee in their town who wants him there. :< Haha.

I pay no attention to who is popular when choosing my dreamies. I like who I like and that's the end of it.

That said, a lot of my dreamies are actually in higher tiers.

also i'd take Carmen personally because Chrissy kinda weirds me out.

I get who I think is cute. I have several really popular villagers, but that doesn't matter to me. They are cute so I like them. From my signature the ones with a flower are my dreamies and I'll keep them.

I honestly don't care about which teir my Dreamies are in, I would love then still even if they were so unpopular they made a new tier called tier 1,000,000,000,000,000,000, my views on them do not changed because everyone else's did
