I will be watering the first few batches but I don't enjoy watering things! I only really do it when I get Nook miles points for it.
My pumpkin patch is pretty small though so I don't mind too much.

I LOVE watering the pumpkins! Especially since it's going to be exciting to get my first batch and start making spooky furniture (Better than having to water all my flowers, that's for sure)

I'm watering them simply because I need all the pumpkins I can get! Since I don't time travel - except to go back if I missed a day of play due to work and other rl obligations - today was only day 2. So they were just sprouted. Tomorrow I should see what colors I have... and honestly I really want mostly orange ones. I don't really plan on doing too many customizations. All together I have 50 pumpkin plants. 48 are in a pumpkin patch composed of three strips of sixteen (8x2), and then 2 plants are by my house for decoration really.

If you need orange pumpkins, you can try to talk to villagers who are crafting the spooky DIYs you already learned, they can give you either 5 orange pumpkins or 1 candy based on my experience today.

Yes, because it's fun and because we finally get to grow vegetables (technically fruit), even if it's only pumpkins for now. My farming section is looking really nice now.

Only the first batches, is not much use later as they grow again anyway, and I want a mix of 3, 2 and 1 pumpkins. I'll concentrate on getting the hybrid flowers that I'm still missing.

i am! i’m absolutely obsessed with the pumpkins and so i definitely want as many as i can get + i have ideas for decorating with them and crafting the spooky items and so, i’ll definitely be needing more than the amount i started with

Ok, my pumpkins came out today. I have visitors watered them day 1 and day 3, and today each of the plant produced 3 pumpkins. So I guess visitor watering does make up the day I missed
