So...with the pumpkin update comes another daily task that can get tedious pretty quickly. Are you keeping up with the demand, or have you already given up? Personally, I watered all of my pumpkins yesterday and today. I read that they mature after 4 days. So, I'll probably keep doing it until then. After the first batch is harvested, I probably won't water any of the future ones...because, it hardly seems worth it.

I have a bunch of villagers with the nature hobby, so, I'm waiting to see if they will water the pumpkins. But, I'll probably take over soon because I like watering things.

Yeah I have been watering mine and this is coming from someone who normally never touches her watercan!! I'm already sick of it but oh boy when I got the harvest tonight it was all worth it <3

I find it very boring, so i don't! i planted lots so i dont need to get the multiple sprouts lolol

Of course! However, once I am done with harvesting pumpkins I plan on leaving all of them alone with bunches of 3.

Yes, at least in my main pumpkin patch I want all groups of 3. However, for the pumpkins I specifically planted around the town I am gonna be watering them with less strictness. It looks more natural for some around the place to have less than 3 imo, and gives more variety!

I'll water them to get more pumpkins especially the not orange ones. Eventually I'll stop when I don't want to craft any more of the spooky stuff and keep some fully grown for farms

yes, but not necessarily because i want the max. harvest. it'll just bother me if i leave them unwatered and i already water an entire flowerbed anyway so.

nothing is a hassle for me in this game. i would water every single flower and pumpkin individually if i had to <3

I've been watering them because I am trying to collect a bunch of green pumpkins to customize some stuff!

I never upgraded my watering can in New Leaf because I loved watering flowers individually so much! I really wish we could get a platinum or titanium watering can that doesnt break. That's the only tool that bothers me when it breaks.

I only got a patch of 20 so I am definitely watering everyday just to get as many as I can.

Just the ones in my farming area. I have a few that are just for decoration. Mostly watering the ones not producing the orange variant.

As far as I know you only need to water it twice for maximum harvest - no watering will yield 1 pumpkin, watering once will yield 2, and watering twice will get you 3 pumpkins (the max). After that you can just sit tight and wait for the pumpkins to show up 🎃
I personally water a little more than half of mine since I'm using the gold watering can and skipping the plants that it misses since I don't need too much spooky furniture anyway

I shot down the final regularly available recipe this morning (Spooky Tower). Now it's a waiting game for the 70, watered-daily pumpkin starts I planted yesterday.

For the moment i have to say I water them all and since i did not make a huge like gardening spot , I enjoy watering my pumpkins 🎃 🧡
