I'm just kinda curious to see how people are dealing with Redd and collecting all of the art.

Nope. I TT to move in some of the Amiibo's (though I didn't for all) or do the campsite trick but to me the random nature of NPC spawns is part of the long term game play. I don't TT to collect out of season bugs or fish or anything like that either.

I'm sure everyone's personal rules are a bit arbitrary but the museum is long term game play to me. Something to do in season and feel excited to have completed.

Naw. Part of the fun for me is not knowing when you'll get your next piece of art to donate.

I've gone thru about a month of TT already and I've gotten Redd 3 times now. Too many special NPC's in rotation =/

Yes but not to fill up the museum, I just want some decoration for the island.

No, I don't TT to accumulate any museum items or any collectibles that would shorten my game span, that's my personal playstyle. I only do it to buy furniture from Nooks for my house, grow hybrids to decorate, or to cycle villagers.

I'm a time traveler, but I don't really like to time travel more than another day at a time since I like to spend at least a few hours in each day. I'd imagine you'd have to speed through weeks to make a noticeable dent from Redd visits. I think I'll stick to trading~

No, I don't time travel, aside from setting my clock back only 3 hours since I play late at night when the shops all close. I vowed not to time travel in NH so I can enjoy the game at a daily pace without getting bored.

I will try this then. Thanks. I usually go one direction for a while then go the other direction to get back to regular time.
Yep the NPC's are always there on the same days.
Or well at least Celeste and Redd, I haven't paid that much attention to the others.

I'm not, no. I only really time travel one or two days when I want something to open or some work to be done (such as the shop and museum), if a friend wants to buy turnips I might go to Sunday. Or if I don't manage to get on earlier in the day I might time travel backwards to put it to a time when the shops are all open.

I tt for terraforming reasons, sometimes when I see him I'll grab something, but otherwise not really

I generally TT for villager cycling reasons + terraforming and moving buildings, but i'm otherwise everything for the museum au naturale.

I've been TTing to cycle out villagers, but I made a conscious choice not to even go in Redd's boat when I see it. TTing to make progress isn't really my thing, I'm just so sick of having 5 villagers I don't care for, and they take sooo long to ask to move out without TTing.
