Are you sick of winter??

Yeah.

I have to fight the urge to delete my game, every single time it loads.

As soon as I see the horrid, blinding snow, I literally feel ill.

I've shut the game down before it even loads, many, many times, because it's so hideous to me, and gives me ocular migraines.

I liked it for a short while, like others have said I've enjoyed the christmas element decorations and villagers in coats and hats. But the snow is pretty much relentless. I look on with horror on a heavy snow day as I know for a fact that my entire island will be overgrown by the morning. Although it has done wonders for blue rose growth! But yeah I'm pretty much done with it. I'd like to redesign my island but not feeling much inspiration with all that white all over the place!

I think the snow is pretty 😊 waited so long for it and love all the cute winter clothes. Rubbish at building snowmen and used to love catching snowflakes but that has got old now and I just ignore them 😂

Terraforming has never been something I am good at so I do very little. I recently made a new beach bar and the palm tree lights customised to the blue variation actually looks stunning with the snow 🙂

I just got done landscaping some areas but it’s hard to tell if they look good because of the bland white snow.
THIS.
I have this terrible feeling that when spring will come and the grass will turn green I'll be like
"This area look bad now."
I like landscaping, but not when it becomes basically everything you do in the game, so I don't really want to redo everything in Spring...

love the snow, but winter is definitely that season that gets boring the quickest. every year I'm always the most excited to see snow in Animal Crossing but it feels like it drags, especially once Christmas is over and we're past the New Year. I miss colour on my island.

I like it, but I just read the snow lasts all the way through february?? That's a bit much for me :S I hope starting february the scenary will slowly start changing again because idk how I feel about another month of it haha. But I'm looking forward to spring again! Every season in AC I look forward to the next one so that's nice

Surprisingly, not yet. I would have been over it by now in New Leaf, but it is just so pretty and calm right now that I am loving it. The moonlight reflecting off of the snow at night is wonderful.

Give me another three weeks or so and then I might finally be tired of it.

i actually really love the snow!! I think it's cuz I love the winter/snowy time irl too haha

I love winter in the game, personally. Unfortunately, this is just a slow time of year. We get kind of spoiled by the end of summer until the New Year, with holidays happening back to back on top of tons of autumn goodies, too.

I have seen what happens when Animal Crossing tries to fill these slow gaps with repetitive grind content over and over again through Pocket Camp. Every single 2 weeks or so, there would be another set of furniture or other themed content you’d feel compelled to spend hours away grinding for. When you finally get it, or get close to it, bam, there’s another one. Way too overwhelming. It really made me appreciate how the main games are slower paced and allow you to breathe a bit.

A patch in February with some new content would be great though. Maybe something new for Valentine’s Day?

I still haven't gotten sick of winter yet. Seeing the snow and playing the game insdoors makes me feel cozy.

I love the snow and the overall winter vibes, and I've actually been taking this time to slowly get myself back into playing regularly and develop nook miles achievements etc which has been really nice after being demotivated for so long! but I have found it hard to put my all into decorating and terraforming when everything is so blindingly white - I look back on pictures from the summer now and for sure miss the vibrant green grass. although I'm sure when the summer comes back there'll be a part of me that misses the snow (especially the sound of running on it  )
oh also, I have so many winter clothes in my wardrobe that I'm getting through! so many gorgeous jumpers etc.

1 thing that stands out is New Horizons offer us 100% grass, while other games had dirt areas/patches. In the winter, this allowed you to see less snow than you see now in New Horizons. (I don't hate having all the grass though.)

I think it may help to place a large amount of patterns or paths down to reduce the amount of snow on your screen.

Sometimes I feel so over it, but sometimes I love it haha.
The snow is pretty and glittery sometimes, but a lot of time I'm like UGH.
A lot of the areas that I actually worked on were more tweaked to look nice with green/brown vibes so uh... Ya. It opened my eyes to trying to make stuff look nice all the time though.
I don't think I will ever have the patience to change things with the season (more power to the people who do cause that's awesome!) but I definitely want to work on making things more ~all season~.

But oh ya! I do love the clothes! I feel like they are way more adorable. :)

Can't lie. I am done with winter. But that is because I live in this sort of weather. Someone who lives in a place like Texas could love this type of atmosphere. But if you live in it day in and day out, you grow tired of it quickly. By February I am so done and wanting warmer weather and sunshine.

I never thought I'd have it, but I think I have seasonal depression this year lol oof...

The thing about the snow for me is the sound your resident rep makes when he/she steps on it. It’s so obnoxious and sounds horrible, like it was recorded by running over a water bottle with a tank and a microphone in the bottle. I personally can compare it to scratching a chalkboard, and it makes the game a lot less enjoyable as I find myself only walking on paths and the beach.

I am already sick of the winter. It's one of my favorite seasons in real life because I'm super duper weak to the heat, but it's kinda dull in animal crossing. Honestly though, the worst part is hearing the mole cricket chirps in-game. It distracts me from doing other sound-based tasks.

I couldn't believe how beautiful winter was on the first day. The snow sparkles and the trees look so pretty. With that said, I want pretty green grass now. I visited a dream town recently, and I had forgotten how nice the green grass looks. Their town was so colorful.
