I got dengue fever earlier in the year and was hospitalized for a week. The nurses had to take my blood twice a day to monitor my platelet levels and I had to be on an IV drip the whole time. They were so bad at finding my vein they basically poked at me multiple times and bruised up both my arms so bad. I dread it but I don't complain (I think I was too tired to care). Just take a deep breath and it'll be over soon...

Are you a boy? For some reason, I've always thought you were a girl. That's pretty sad that you're only 5 feet tall.

You would be correct. I am a girl. A lot of people mistake me for a boy in real life though (short hair), so that might be part of why they think I'm younger. The doctor is keeping me on it because I only have the bone density of a twelve year old even though I'm in the somewhat normal range for my height.

I've been getting blood work done almost every month in my life since I was five.
I don't mind needles at all.

The only thing I'm scared of when getting needles (that aren't bloodwork) is what they'll do to my body, like I don't want to take the flu shot, not because I'm scared of the needle, but because I'm scared I'll get the flu.

Yup! I've always hated them ever since I could remember. Injections, blood samples, vaccines, they all bother me. Even sewing needles and pins sometimes bother me, but not as bad as the others.

When I was really little, I ended up getting tons of vaccines and blood samples drawn by horrible nurses and doctors and they ended up having to do it multiple times because they couldn't work the needle right. We need better medical care workers tbh

ugh i have a phobia of needles and stuff like that. i would probably panic and start screaming and probably knock the needle out of your hand if you came near my with one. we were meant to get injections in school last year but my aunt's against vaccinations and convinced my gran not to let me get it

come near me with that hellish thing and I swear you will beg for the end!

I know that they arent too bad but im still deathly scared of them =u=
It was probably because of all the sucky nurses i had when i was a kid. One nurse: missed my vein so she had to do it again. :c

I think i fainted once and blacked out from another xD probably due to too much blood loss
i dunno

im deathly afraid of needles as far as ivs, shots, etc. yet I have a really detailed half-sleeve tattoo and I honestly did not even mind getting that one bit so like I really don't get the logic of that - maybe it's just hospital settings and medicines etc. that freak me out I guess??? lol.

I used to be afraid of needles, but one of my best friends has type 1 diabetes and has to stab himself like three times a day so he doesn't die. So I decided to man up and not be afraid anymore, and it worked.

I don't hate em' or love em', they're just kind of there haha.

Medical needles, as in for taking blood, or injections/shots of any kind=Debilitating fear, like literally crying like a freaking baby and feeling like I'm going to have a heart attach when I just SEE or KNOW it's coming for me. (This is due to medical anxiety and is not logical)
Piercing/Tattoo needles, far more damage and far more likely to kill me= I sat for a 9 hours session of tattoos for my birthday one year, and I don't mind piercings and I have stabbed myself many a time to try to give myself piercings in multiple body parts... to be honest tattoo needles I love and will continue to love forever, I have had parts deemed "too sensitive" and that I would be dying from the pain, not hurt me at all, the only time I got feverish and light-headed was when I got a tattoo on my nerve damaged leg, and that was because it was a sensation that I can not put into words but was literally vomit inducing and I had to take several breaks, it wasn't "pain" it was just a very very strange sensation.
