At the time of writing this post it is a Saturday afternoon and I haven't loaded up ACNH today. In truth I rarely touch the game on the weekend, yet I always try to take at least five minutes on a weekday to play. After giving it a bit of thought I realise this is because I know who the weekend NPCs are going to be and I don't really care for them, so I don't feel any sense of urgency to play that day. Meanwhile on weekdays I am compelled to turn the game on, even if it is just for a little while, because I don't want to miss the opportunity to see certain NPCs - namely Redd and Flick.
I'm wondering how many other people feel the same way I do. So my question to you is: are you more likely to play the game on a weekday or at the weekend?
I’m definitely playing it less nowadays compared to when it first launched, but I tend to play everyday. Sometimes it’ll just be for 30 mins to check my shops, talk to my villagers and see who the NPC is.
The dream suite is definitely something I’ll be using a lot of though so I imagine my daily playing time will be increased significantly over the next few weeks.
I play every day, but I have spent more time on the weekends playing purely because I have had more time to terraform/redecorate and visit other people. But I prefer the week days because of the NPC visitors. It makes me sad because I'd love them on the weekends so I can enjoy them a bit more.
At least an hour. Sometimes more if I wanted to take more screenshots or work on some unfinished part of my island. Or if I want to visit a dream island. I do prefer weekdays to weekends in the game because I'm not a K.K. Slider fan and I don't buy turnips from Daisy Mae.
For me I actually work on thursday, friday and sunday, and have monday - wednesday off on my current rota. Due to that, I actually much prefer playing on weekdays because I can focus on a project/build, and actually put many days of work into it if needed without a big break inbetween. I also just usually feel more fresh and less tired in general once monday starts, so that probably contributes to me having more motivation to actually play the game then. I do sometimes play on Saturday, but even then I usually don't play for very long at all, and prefer just to relax and chill all day (I find AC more stimulating than relaxing for some reason).
I play everyday. The weekend npcs are a bit boring -- I don't really talk to KK and don't buy turnips anymore. I wish regular npcs would show up on the weekends, too... especially Redd and Gulliver.
I work long 12hr shifts over the weekend currently, so it's very rare that I actually get to play on a weekend sometimes I will TT back in order to get a KK song or turnips but the majority of the time I dont lol
I try to play for at least half an hour every day. A lot of times I'll set my work alarm a half hour early because playing helps me wake up and then get out of bed. I definitely try to play more on weekends though.
Currently I'm playing everyday because I'm on a 10 month work schedule and I don't work over the summer. In the fall when I return to work I expect to play more on the weekends but likely will still play at some point each day!
I play everyday!
There are days when I only play for half an hour at the minimum and a few hours at most - to either work on a part of my island for a little, find the NPC for the day, give gifts, take screenshots, and now, to visit dream islands.
I play every day. On weekdays, sometimes I only have time to do my daily tasks and maybe small bits of decorating/terraforming. On weekends, I focus on planning out my island or diving (if I'm in the mood to make bells). Now I play the waiting game more than anything (buildings to be moved, bridges/inclines to be built or demolished, waiting for a villager whose photo I've received to ask about moving out).
I play it everyday ever since I got the game, to be honest. I'm TT'ing but that does not stop me from playing in the current time to talk to my villagers and walk around, no matter who my NPC visitor is or even if I do nothing other than to check up on things. I might slow down in the next few days or weeks though. I'm pretty satisfied with my island, so I guess it's time to find something new to do or go back to my huge backlog of games (that I literally stopped playing when ACNH came out). We'll see.
I play when I'm available to, mostly days I'm off from work. If I worked the whole day until night I usually don't have the energy to play, much less anything else... Sometimes if I get off a little early I will pick up the game and play for a while. I'm suspecting when school starts again I might drop off a lot between that and work.
