Renting, as in seeing how it is first before purchasing. Like what Envy had said, renting City Folk would've been a good choice, because I extremely regret buying it in the first place.i don't really understand the appeal of renting a game like animal crossing..
reasons being the game is meant to be played over long periods of time, and because unless you're playing city folk or the original/GC game, you're going to be losing your town and all your work every time you have to turn it back in. (unless you get lucky and rent it twice in a row w/o someone else renting it)
but eh. whatever works
I don't know if I'm going to get it or not, I'm still kind of back and forth on the prospect of getting a 3ds because of epilepsy and migranes, but I'm dying to get Ocarina of time again so it's kind of a crossroads here. If I do get one I'll probably pick up the AC game just because. Is there a release date on the 3Ds yet anyway?
Sometime in March.

And I don't see the appeal in spending $50 on a game that I played for a week and can't bear to play at all anymore. In fact, I hate City Folk. I seriously think it was terrible and wasn't even worth a penny. I don't want to spend too much on a game when the series has a track record like that. This time Nintendo needs to earn their money. The Animal Crossing name is no longer one I trust.
