Are you emotionally attached to a villager?

Julian and Tangy.

Tangy has been in so many of my Animal Crossing towns, and she's usually the one that stays the longest. Julian lives right across the river from my house and he was my first villager move-in!

Olivia, she helped me through a really rough time in Wild World. I just had a blast visiting her house and trading furniture with her, doing all this really got my mind off things so when she moved into my New Leaf town I couldn't be happier. :)
I'm attached to Rosie and Ankha too. All three were actually random move-ins. Rosie was in my friend's Wild World town and I was always jealous of her lol. I've wanted Ankha ever since I saw her as a GameCube islander. Still, those two are still different than what Olivia did for me.

Marshal. It's annoying really as I'm going to end up with so many smugs, but I've had him a year now and I love him. Would be so hard to let him go. I do need to move his house so he will eventually have to go but I'm getting his amiibo card so I can get him again at least

Erik, Deirdre, Coco, Avery.

When Avery left I was very, very heartbroken ):

Not that I don't love my other villagers/wanted villagers (Rudy, Poppy, O'Hare, Fauna, Lobo, Blanche). I would be really sad if they left (specially because I have an entire story in my town and they are part of it), but the other 4... Are quite special.

I would say Cranston and Hopper.

Cranston moved in from someone's void and for some reason, I started to like him. He now lives for a long time in my town and I'm happy to have him. Hopper moved in random into my town. At first I didn't want to keep him, as I actually wanted a other cranky for my town back in this time, but after some thoughts, I gave him a chance. I would be sad if one of them or both would move out.

Yep. Basically all of my villagers in Bunifrey, because I love bunnies, and because the whole town is a memorial for my bunny that died a couple years ago now.

Also Flurry. She's my hamster queen.

Lucky, Goldie, Stitches and Muffy! Those are my favorite villagers in my town currently, and I've always wanted Lucky and finally just got him the other day! SO HAPPY! :D

Lucky isn't even my favorite, but I'm so attached to him.. Julian said he looked so happy after I came to his birthday party, and I'm sure they all say that, but I've never gone to another party. I had my very first home-barge-in today and it was him, and he's also the only one that's ever pinged me just to tell me I'm cool... precious puppy baby ;_;

I love all 4 of my cranky wolves (Fang, Chief, Lobo, and Wolfgang) :) I am considering moving them out though for the Sanrio villagers but I really don't want them to go...

Lolly and I are the only things in this world who have any memory of my first New Leaf town. She's a reminder of all the fun I had in that old town before I demolished it. So, I do have some emotional attachment to her.

I'm super attached to Nana, Octavian, and Poppy.
Nana reminds me of my grandma.
Octavian came to my town a year or two ago, and I just fell in love with him because he's just... I don't know. He's definitely my favorite villager.
Poppy was an old friend of mine from City Folk. She was the first villager who ever gave me her picture, and she's just so cute and kind!

I have had a hard time letting any villager go. Even though they ask to go, I feel mean having them leave. I really need to get over it if I want to settle on a final town layout (hint, Cole, your house placement is terrible).

That said, Grizzly is my bestie and I'll never let him leave. He's surprisingly nice and cheery for a 'grumpy' villager and he's given me some really nice items (real art, a Wishy item, etc.)

I wish you could 'lock' some villagers so that they never tried to leave. I suppose that's crueler than telling them you don't care if they leave, even, but it's frustrating when you find out someone you really want to stay wants to go and you have to get them to ping so you can say 'please reconsider.'
