Yes I already have now for at least 3 of my towns. Due largely in part to cataloging parties that where held on other sites. The same game has been out for some years now so it was very easy to do this. Sadly since I have been on this site I have not seen of many of them many of these be on a completely free nature Well for orderable items not so much for non orderable) where some things or people are more concerned with TBT or getting sets of their own. NOT that there is anything wrong with this but I have seen way more almost completely free with no restrictions on other sites I have been on(again maybe there is less fear of getting ripped off) and why yes I have see some cataloging parties I can say honestly say in my experience all of my completely orderable catalog has not come from here nor even close. I wish we could change that but it does take up so much time and having people go back and fourth and fear of things being taken is a valid concern. Not to say there are NONE but nothing like the sites I have been on before.
My last town is just for cycling and do not care if I every complete anything LOL.

I saw one cataloging party last year where you could catalog every orderable set. It was sooo helpful! Like you said, I haven't seen any since.

I buy stuff I know I don't have in my catalog yet only, or if there's clothes in ablesistah I like. The pile gets pretty big after a while, but I don't really know if I should call it collecting or not. :o

I am! What method do you guys use to keep track? With my first AC game, I wrote everything down, like a plebeian... but now I have an app on my old note 3 (only reason I keep it around... app isn't available on IOS) called ACNL Guide. It helps out a ton. I'm not even near my goal, haven't even started on Gracie's furniture.... but I'll get there!

I've been using this spreadsheet and check off items as I acquire them. I'm well over 80% and still no gold badge though, ugh.

I know there have been occasional glitches, and this is such a hard badge to master, it's hard for the creators to smooth things out... I haven't gotten close, but I'm sorry to hear it won't award you your badge!

It seems like it takes more than 80% since other people have had this problem too:

Nope! I decided a long time ago that it sounded like much too stressful a goal for my tastes. I know if I decided to care I'd get obsessive about it, which would take some of the fun out of the game. So I've intentionally told myself that I'm not buying anything except seasonal items that I don't actually like/want.

My goal this year is to 100% my catalog, and for things that can't be reordered, I stick them into storage using my 4 players.

Does anyone else use MoriDB? People are talking about some app called ACNL Guide, but I use MoriDB, because I like how it's EVERYTHING in alphabetical order.

I just need some hybrid plant bags from Leif and the missing Blue Argyle Tank that Nintendo never gave out.

I'm not collecting all the villagers picture. Once I had all the gyroids I sold them all except for the Brewster ones.
