You are irish if you live in Ireland, were born in Ireland, or have irish parents.

I know around 20 Americans, 8 of them claim to be irish, 1 was born in Ireland, 3 have irish parents.
The other 4 have no (signifigant) irish relatives at all, and just came over for 2 months during the summer, but are still JUST AS IRISH AS ME Y'ALL!!.
