Sooo I'm the type of person who says "no" whenever a villager I'm keeping asks to move, sends them sometimes unorderable furniture that fits their house theme in the mail, and freaks out when they wear an ugly or unfitting shirt. Is anyone else this obsessive about their villagers?

I'm exactly the same way. If they want new furniture it has to suit their house theme and I always tell them no when they wanna move etc.

sort of. if they ask for something and i get it i usually cant resist giving it to them, like bugs or fish. if they wear a new shirt i want it to be pretty, tho.

I'm the very same way. Ruby is wearing an ugly shirt right now and it makes me mad. Shirt trick hasn't worked, I've sent her five of the same shirt.

I don't let my favs move ever and don't like when they are wearing an ugly shirt. I usually give them what they want, but I don't really pay attention to their homes.

Kinda. I tell my villagers no a lot. but it's not like they aren't happy lmao. They're like, designed to be happy about almost everything, so I don't really feel bad. My villagers only move if I decide they should, I'm trying to get them to all wear very similar outfits, basically uniforms, and I'm trying my best to keep their houses how I want them.

Houses are the main issue for me. It just bothers me so much if there's even one unfitting piece of furniture in my villagers' houses.

Yeah, I know I am. I tell them no whenever they ping to move out. I try to redecorate their houses with stuff I think would suit them. I just finished redecorating Stitches's house after months of trying to switch things. XD I no longer do deliveries for them because it always switches out something in their house in my experience. Christmas and their birthday may be the exception.

I'm a little more lenient on the shirts since those take forever to switch (especially when you're trying to get them to wear custom clothes).

Well I mean I don't really care if they wear my designs or not (even though my entire custom design display in Able Sisters is entirely villager shirts). I just care that they are wearing something that isn't butt-ugly XD

Not really, I just want my animals to be happy so if they want bugs so be it.

not super duper crazy about it. if my villagers wear a moldy tee i dont give a **** its their style haha (this happened with nana). i do create seasonal shirts/sweaters at the able sisters and display them in hopes of some of my villagers wear them though. just not, like, forcibly lol

i do try to get them the fish or bug they ask for even if it does look funny in their house. but hey w/e.

when they ask to move out and theyre one of my dreamies, of course i say no, i mean who wouldnt say no? unless they've been in your town for like 3 years, then id say sure.

I'm not very controlling. If they want fish and bugs I'll do my best to get it for them. When they ask for furniture I will try to match their theme. They can wear what they want and nickname my mayor what they want, but I do sometimes say no if they want to move, but saying no usually makes them happier than saying yes.

Kind of? I plan to keep everyone in Feldspar, so I won't let anyone move, but I don't really care about houses or shirts. I mean, I do really like it when those things match, but it spoils the fun for me if I have to deny villager requests or send them 8 of the same shirt just to preserve the perfection. Then it doesn't feel like a town anymore. I'm a pushover when they ask for things, so somebody always has a t-rex torso in the middle of their house. Haha.

nope. I'm honestly too lazy. there was a time I tried to fix some of their furniture pieces, get them to wear certain shirts, etc, but I've stopped caring....unless their shirts are beyond tacky!! I do say no when they ask me for furniture tho; their homes rly don't need to be even more messy.

I only control them on what they wear. They all gotta be fashionable if they wanna stay in MY town. Otherwise I get them whatever they want unless its too hard to get.

oh man, it really bugs me when they change their shirt. ankha was wearing an adorable blue grid tee and she changed it to a pink dotted tee, and it really irks me. i hope she changes it soon! does sending them shirts in the mail make them wear the shirt?

It does sometimes!! But some villagers are really stubborn and wont change their shirt even if the world was ending.

I'm always telling my favourites to stay and it always seems to be my top favourites who want to move. Poor Stitches has asked about going on an adventure so many times now, I'm starting to feel like I'm being somewhat cruel to keep him locked up in my town.
As soon as they try and change their shirt from the original (unless the original was one I really hated) I always send them 5 of them back in the mail to get them to change back. That is one thing I ask a bit obsessive over. I'm also a bit of a dictator when it comes to their friendships, sounds a bit weird but I do like for certain villagers to be friends with whoever I've chosen for them. Doesn't always work out but I deliberately try and ship them and keep them away from other villagers

I just get mad when a villager gives another villager the shirt they are wearing. Like for example Skye using a pink girly shirt, gives it to Wolfgang, now both are using the same pink girly shirt. I HATE THAT. Same with the catchphrases.
