Are villagers not able to move out while someone is sick?

So Lucky is sick in my town today, and none of the other villagers have told me about anyone moving, or given me one of the rumors that mean no one is moving. Is that normal? I've talked to everyone several times. Is this because Lucky is sick?

Just coincidence, the only villager who can't move out is the sick one, afaik!

Lucky wont move but the others will i'm pretty sure

They can still move. It's hard to get them talk about rumors cuz they are gonna say "oh I heard so and so caught a bad cold..." Or something like that instead of talking about regular(?) rumors.

I got moving the ping when Merengue was sick.. So yeah.. Try catching everyone when they are outside; saving and quitting, then reloading to make them come outside or something >_<
