For me personally, Nana the monkey reminds me of my grandmother.
I called my grandmother "po-po," which is "grandma" in Chinese, and Nana's catchphrase is "po po."

In Happy Home Designer, Nana requested I make her a house with a "serene park" theme. Made me tear up a bit, because my po-po died 4 years ago, so I made Nana a simple, beautiful house and I left my po-po a short message. (If you'd like to see it, the code is 0900-5734-936.)

That's really sad... I speak Chinese as well and I understand. I hope that she'll be happy forever even after she passed on

Thank you very much. I edited the story out, just because I did not want a dark looming cloud over this thread, haha, I just wanted a nice discussion. But again, thank you.

I'm sorry for your loss. :c But that's really sweet you designed Nana's house in her memory!

I always associate villagers to my family members' based on their birthdays. I remember when I was younger, I had the City Folk guide book, and I found out that Nate had my sister's birthday! Its pretty fitting, considering she loves bears in real life.
