are there any other cats whose design changed?

i know merry had a glow up, so did punchy – he definitely got a new pair of eyes. bob's color has changed but i think design stayed the same with just new added expressions.

honestly i was playing new leaf again recently and punchy looks WAY different.

merry looks almost unrecognizable here without her :3 mouth

i don't notice a difference with tom's, lolly's & rosie's design or color.
but i haven't met everyone else yet, so who else?

i think in terms of design, cats, rabbits & squirrels could easily get a face lift because their entire face is drawn-in & they don't have nose bumps, but i feel like cats had bigger changes through out the whole game series actually (the had small body frame originally).

Kid Cat has brand new textures so he got a glow up imo. His helmet (especially the glass) is now actually shiny instead of having a fake shine drawn on.

I don't have his official NH render but I have a screenshot I found on reddit for comparison.

Mitzi is a lot more rounded and smooth, it's especially easy to tell playing Pocket Camp. She's so cute in NH and legit scares me in PC.

I love how they fixed Kid Cats mask but he now wears a t-shirt instead of his old tank top (not rly a tank top but it looks like one on the old character design) which I don't like as much since he used to look like he was in a track suit and now he doesn't...

I always thought he was wearing a t shirt in the older games (pre-NL), but now I realize after reading your comment the renders just made it look that way because of how polygon everyone was...
