Are gender ratios really that important?

Not at all! If you have all the PWPs, I say go for it. No use having an even ratio if you don't enjoy them!

I have 4 town. Two are equal amounts. Newest has more girls and the guest town now has more boys.
I love the Guest town full of jocks and cranky boys. Also have Deli and O'Hare. Daisy and Blanche are the last girls Peggy just left and I'm thinking of adding Bluebear to the line up. A friend for Poncho and Kody.

Gender ratio isn't important. Get what villagers you like I like to maintain a balance between male and female cause when I get bored of talking to the guys, I talk to the girls and vice versa xD

I don't really try to balance the gender numbers in my towns but they always seem to wind up being in the 5:5 or 6:4 range.I think personality types and species are more important than gender.

It doesn't matter to me. I didn't even think about it for a long time. Then one day it occurred to me that that my villagers were mostly female. Right now I have nine and only two are male.

I was surprised how many people didn't think about it actually, but then I remembered when I only had Marina and all males and I never even considered it before it ended up that way.
I'm glad to hear the majority of people don't see it as an issue I think I was making it a bigger deal in my mind than it needs to be to be honest. I just always like to hear the opinions of others on these type of things
I was actually working out a dreamie list for my second town and that is mostly female! Which surprised me. So now I'm going to have one of the females in Hyrule and switch over one of my boys to the second town. So it won't be completely even but it kind of makes more sense.

I dont think they really matter. Only unless you want certain pwps, then you would need that personlity type in your town. I currently have 6 girls and 4 boys (potentionally getting rid of one for a future girl villager) Most of my dreamies/fav villagers just happen to be female anyway just have villagers you love and enjoy! Thats what matters in my opinion

I personally don't think it matters what the gender balance is, I had been wondering about this myself. My town is very female dominated, I have 7 girls to 3 boys, and even then I plan to replace my smug because the personality does nothings for me, same goes for my new town, I think when it comes down to it I might end up with 8 girls. I'd say just do what makes you happiest!
