Are fossils ever a Retail premium item?

I think I've seen fossils as a premium item at Retail before, but I'm not sure. I've been saving them, but if not, I'll go ahead and sell them.

I have played the game for 2 years and haven't seen it yet. the only thing I have seen would be the gyroids.
