Are fishing points cumulative?

Does anyone know if we have to get the gold trophy now or will the points we earn today carry over into future tournaments?

CJ told me they would carry over when it ended, but I don't know if he means for "fish swag" only or for the actual trophies

I'm also not sure, so I went ahead and got 300. I'm officially a Fishing Legend, at least according to CJ.

I ended up getting only one anchor and one shirt, while getting multiples of the other items. I really like the look of the set.

another question do you have to keep ur points and redeem all 300 to get for example the fishing trophy, or does he track total points even if they were redeemed for "swag"?

I have been turning it in regularly, and have been told that I have reached 100 points.

You can continue to redeem for prizes, once you reach 100, 200, 300 points you'll get a notification that CJ will mail you the trophies.

The points should carry over until the next fishing tournament as well.

That’s a relief, so we don’t have to get the gold trophy today if we don’t have enough time.

I literally managed to grind out 300 points in 3 hours today after saving up Bait for 2 weeks thinking it was probably my only shot at getting the Gold Trophy (I’ll no doubt be busy at work in July)

Well at least I got it I suppose
