Are Bushes okay planted right on cliffs?

So i haven't personally planted a bush on the edge of a cliff yet to test this but i've been hearing two different responses about whether it works so I just wanted to hear from the whole bell tree community of those who have done it and it if it works.

The question is: Do bushes grow on the edge of cliffs?​

(i know that they will grow next to each other but i thought they had the same limitations as trees like one space all around) However I've seen some photos of people's towns where i saw bushes along the lines of a town. Thank you to those of you who respond! ^-^

No they can't normally grow right along a cliff's edge. The towns that do have them like that used hacking tools to place them there.

Bushes will die, like trees, when placed next to rivers, buildings and cliffs. So, answer is no. Hope I helped ^^
