aranging villager houses

I've seen dream towns where the villagers houses are lined up in rows. Does anyone know how they are doing this?

also, does anyone know how to get the bridge over a pond that I have seen in some houses?

By plot resetting I think, though it's become harder to do that since the update

some of those towns could be hacked as well.

Yeah, that's it basically. Either they spent hours plot resetting them into specific spots or they hacked them.

Thanks for the answers. I was hoping it was something simpler than plot resetting, lol. I'm sure not hacking it though.
