Hans is definitely my favorite Gorilla villager. That he is based more on a yeti/Abominable Snowman sets him apart from the rest of the gorillas, and the Smug personality really compliments the great looking design. He's a resident of my main town and he's one of my favorites.
Honorable mentions to Boone for his unique mandrill-inspired design and to Louie for being a very nostalgic villager from my days playing the GameCube Animal Crossing game and for his Donkey Kong-inspired design.
I also like Peewee for his more traditional gorilla coloration, Rocket for her superhero design, and Violet for her purple fur and blue accessories.
Overall, I quite like the Gorilla villager look and hope we get new representatives of the species in the future.
Hands down, my man Peewee. He is absolutely the best. I LOVE the gorillas! I know they are not a particularly popular species, but I adore how they lumber through town, yet have these sweet personalities. I think I have four or five of them, hmm, Peewee, Violet, Rocket and Hans. Yep, four of them. I still want to move in more though.
