Anything villagers do that annoy you?

I've had quite a few weeds in town that naturally spawned and I've wanted to keep them but nooo, my villagers keep getting rid of them. Little gremlins are ruining my aesthetic lol

So fellow mayors, anything your villagers do that slightly or majorly annoy you?

Oh my gosh yes! I also have the problem where when they DO request it's for ugly ones (like that drilling rig I once got from avery..like thaaanks buddy .-.)

Omg the random visits! They can be cute, but they always want to visit when i'm in the middle of something.

Changing their clothes into something unsuitable definitely bothers me the most! I used to have Kyle running around in a cheer uniform and it didn't match his aesthetic at all...

Sharing clothes and catchphrases annoys the crap out of me. I also dont like them asking for a billion fish or bugs just so they can put it in their homes.

I think it's cute when they drop in for a visit unexpectedly when I'm not really doing anything. I think it's less cute when they drop in for a visit when I'm in the middle of an intense room decorating session!! Also I hate it when villagers tell me when someone is planning on leaving, but when I run by said villager the first ping isn't to tell me their move date, it's to ask me some stupid request... aaand and I have to wait and stick around until I'm able to tell them to stay (I don't play for long anymore if only to stop villagers from moving lol)

for me, its when villagers change into some weird clothes that they won't change out of unless you take action. I'm pretty sure Jambette was the source of the virus who spread her uncommon shirt around. I quickly kicked her out and I'm lucky it only infected villagers I didn't want in my town (Flora, Poncho).

Stupid questions/things that normal people won't ask you like: 'So how long are you going to have your hair next time'.. like that's being nosy and the quiz the normal villagers just HAVE to give you (at first it wasn't annoying, but after a while it starts to be).

Villagers never requesting PWPs/The Villager you want a PWP request from is never outside.

Also the villagers visiting you while you're in the middle of decorating.

I hate it when a villager asks you to go to another town and get signatures for a petition as it always happens at a time when I'm not planning on visiting anybody

I think the most annoying thing is their house placement. I have seven villagers in the bottom-left eight acres, and none in the top third of the town. They also seem to really like the plot right next to my house, as they always move in there and destroy my flowers

When they all change into the same clothing as another villager. I find that really annoying purely because it's bad enough that my villagers are essentially all just NPCs & AI but having them all wear the same clothing like sheep, really empathsises that LOL. I find it cute if one or two villagers do it since you could easily see that as adoration for another villager but once they all start doing it.. that's when it gets annoying. I also find it annoying that when you first start up the game, all the villagers do is give you constant tips, as if you haven't heard them twice over and don't say nothing of substance until later on. I don't find it particularly annoying when they pop in and out of my house. I think that's pretty cute of them to check up on me.

When they plant the wrong type of flower or color. It's even worse when I'm standing there watching them ponder.

I like to stand real close with my shovel out so I can DIG right up in front of them.

Planting flowers where I don't want them, and offering me worthless items for the most valuable items in my inventory. No, I definitely won't give you my shark in exchange for a t-shirt.

Talking to villagers who live close to where the item was dropped usually works for me, actually, so long as they haven't currently requested anything else that day.

when they ask you to deliver something to someone who is right behind them. DO IT YOURSELF!

When a villager asks you to deliver an item to another villager. Then after receiving it, the other villager changes into the shirt. Which happens to be uglier than what they were already wearing...
