Anything Good in Your Police Station

Have you ever had anything good show up in your police station? I have a random shirt now and then, but it is mostly pitfall seeds or flower seedlings.

What is the most interesting thing you have found? Do you find stuff often?

If your talking about a lost item you found outside, you need to go talk to all your villagers until you find the rightful owner.

If you are talking about the lost items that appear in the police station, those are for you to take if you want them. It's usually just junk.

I have become rich in pitfall seeds for sure.

The best thing that I remember getting was a Ghost Umbrella.
I think I got a shirt one time too, but it was one of the butt-ugly ones...
I do like the flowers too though. I always grab everything in there, including the pitfall seeds.

I find the Police Station items aren't as good as they are in Gamecube. I don't know how different it actually is, but when I had the Police Station in my old New Leaf town I remember it being empty most of the time. I've gotten a lot of useful items from the station in my Gamecube town, so there is probably some sort of difference.

The Gamecube version also had the dump area, which was a nice place to find the odd piece of furniture or the occasional shirt. But I don't remember: in the Gamecube version could you get furniture out of shaking trees twice a day?

The most useful thing I've ever gotten out of the Police Station was my item that accidentally got crushed by someone's tent X)

Other then that, random furniture and clothes to sell.

I found the clothes I laid in the plaza for dream visitors to wear that were crushed by Isabelle's face cutouts from events. x)
If I didn't have the police station I would have had to build it just to get them back...

I get random shirts, umbrellas, and furniture, which was helpful when I was still working on filling out my catalog. Now, I leave the items in there until they're on premium at Retail so I can sell them for more. I pick up flower seeds and pitfall seeds immediately and sell them.

I think I got a tricky pitfall seed in the police station once, but I sold it because I don't really care about pitfall seeds.

I also got a cardboard bed from either the police station or Retail. I can't remember which one it came from.

I suppose not, maybe just things I was looking for in my catalog at the time. I have never once received sloppy or cardboard items in mine.

Ahah now that I think about it, the police station is a totally reasonable place to take the lost item. But we still gotta look for the owner ourselves

I usually get pitfalls and stuff I leave in my plaza that gets sat on by Redd/Katrina. I always keep my eyes peeled for tricky pitfalls though. I have gotten a few sloppy furniture items from there too I think

What I like and get from there often is flower seed bags so I don't need to go to emporium and spend some bells to complete the daily initiative when it's planting flower. Yes I'm a cheapo.
