Anyone wish this game was much bigger?

I agree that I wish it should be bigger but I'm not sure if the 3DS could handle it extremely well. The New 3DS probably could but with it being a 4 year old game I don't think the normal 3DS would be able to handle it that well. Like I've seen most people say the Switch will probably be our answer to this wish with it's superior power, and basically everything.

I completely forgot that the new 3DS only came out recently and wasn't on release. That really put perspective on things. Still I think considering how old the Gamecube was, the 3DS hardware should be the same or better than the GC. Sadly it is not.

I definitely wish there were more villagers and bigger towns, landscaping is my favorite part of the game but my main town is out of room :(

well this is an handheld game so this size it's pretty reasonable I think bigger games are better on home consoles or pcs

The game is much bigger than the gamecube version.

Don't forget that the GC AC ran on what was essentially a n64 engine. The 3DS is more than capable of handling anything a n64 can handle, and then some.

There are more features, furniture, villagers etc. in New leaf than there is in the GC version. New leaf is literally the biggest AC game we've ever had.

I disagree with you. I think that lessening the number of villagers and the size of the town has made it more easy to manage. It fits, because it's a handheld game and everything is supposed to feel small.

I do wish there were bigger acres for landscaping since that is my favourite aspect of the game, however even I feel overwhelmed with maintaining my town at times! 10 villagers is definitely enough for me because I already have trouble keeping them from moving or even talking to them every day.

thing is usually more deep games need more time to be enjoyed properly bigger is the game bigger is the time to dedicate to it

handheld games usually are meant to be played in quick short snippets on on trains or waiting rooms or things like that
if eg a quest is too time consuming how could you put down the game quickly for making other things?

PS I can't express my thought properly in English but this is the point ^^

I get your point. It make sense from that perspective.

I wish my town was a 3 tier town like in my population growing town. It feels huge!

I too think we should have more villagers allowed. I have tons of villagers that I really like, and it is really hard for me to choose which ones. I hope that if ACNL gets another update, that happens, but it's very unlikely that even if we get another update, more villagers will occur, or at least that's what I think.

Can you imagine if your town was so big you have all 333 villagers? Completely possible on console. You can even change the camera to third person if you like.

I know, not ever going to happen but one can dream, can't he?

I feel if we had more than 10 villagers?fine, as long as they have different personalities and more dialogue. But with more villagers, you need more acres. More landscaping... Yay. They would also have to expand the limit of pwp too, instead of 30. I constantly TT and it's hard enough when sooner or later you have to go around town finding the mover, and imagine like 5 more available options to talk to. Plus, it would be chaotic. If there was another way of moving out villagers, I'd gladly take in 5 more. ^^

I agree somewhat, Animal Crossing GameCube was AMAZING in the fact that you could have the possibility of having 15 villagers max!!! That was awesome but also a little confusing maybe like 12-14 villagers would be good for ACNL, I agree that having 10 villagers is not enough, but it's more than the DISASTER of a game, Animal Crossing Wild World, I cringe just saying that name, don't even get me started, in many flaws, you could ONLY have 8 Villagers in that game... THE MOST.

Yeah the dialogue in the GameCube version is amazing! I hardly ever see people saying the same thing, especially if you talk to them more than once, but running errands for villagers gives you work to do, and I wish you had an option to choose errands, not them give you them automatically.

Yeah, and Wild World could only fit 8 villagers at once... thats a shame!

Yeah, NOTE we could also fit MORE public works projects with bigger towns as well. I absolutely agree 100% about the personalities, the snooty's and cranky's aren't NEARLY as rude/mean as they were in the GameCube version, and you know what, that's a bad thing because it showed more personality.. Now they just agree with everything you say, before if you hit them with a net 3 times, they would basically curse at you ROFL, it was funny. Now they are like "Oh, it's ok, you didn't mean it" WHAT!? I want you to yell at me! It makes them seem like robots. Sorry for long post just venting lol.

Bottom line, we should get the OPTION to expand our town, to fit more villagers and pwp, IF WE WANT. That way it works for everyone!
