Anyone think Attack on Titan is good?

big people eat little people
little people kill big people

the end

Ugh this anime is so good.
It's hard to explain but basically these people are trying to defeat these monsters called Titans and lots of craziness happens. If you're into gore and tragedy and stuff, this is a good one. If not, you might wanna turn away until you can.

I LOVE attack on Titan! Such a great anime! And every time I watch the damn credits it reminds me if zanessa ^^^^

It's okay. Great concept, okay characters, fine action. There's gore, but not every two seconds, and nothing too detailed. Mostly just blood. I thought it was meh, go check it out if you want. Don't get too attached to anyone. Main idea below, kind of spoilers.
eren j?ger, his adopted sister mikasa ackerman, and armin arlert are good friends. eren, even though he often rushes into things, is ambitious, sticks to his goals, and is controlled by his emotions. mikasa, on the other hand, hides her feelings easily, and comes off as emotionless. she is very protective of eren, and, by far, more rational. (she also is perfect at everything and strong as heck for some reason). armin breaks down under pressure, and is pretty passive. he does what he thinks is right, and is strategic, although not very strong physically. they live inside wall maria, the outermost layer of the three walls that house humanity. these help protect them from the titans, who are humongous creatures that have no motives and spend their time eating people. when the colossal titan breaks through the wall, all hell breaks loose, with titans going around eating things and destroying buildings. eren and the gang escape, and eren vows to join the survey corps (the military) to help destroy the titans, with mikasa and armin being dragged in because eren would probably get himself killed or w/e. together, they try and discover the secrets of the titans and take them out one at a time. wow this was too long lel

And can you tell me what it's about? I'm thinking about watching it. ^^
It's about a highly centralized society formed from the remnants of a global civilization almost wiped out after an inexplicable attack by enormous humanoid monsters. These survivors of the cataclysm hide behind walls stronger and higher than the monsters, and formed with the intent to provide everlasting peace. In fact, peace is so crucial to this new society that an influential religious group even worships the walls as the saviors of humanity, and its authoritarian government casts an ever-weary eye on a military contingent known as the Survey Corps for venturing into the unknown and thereby inherently threatening the status quo. And in this society predicated on everlasting peace everything risks metaphorically going to Hell and everybody faces the prospect of death.

This is in slight contrast to Naruto, which features a highly fragmented society: there are ninja tribes whose economies rely on eternal warfare. In fact, war has such an agonizing hold on the psyche of the average citizen that one of the major villains featured in it predicates his goals on ending this everlasting cycle of hatred with a plan so psychotic that even God feels inadequate with the Flood. But hardly anyone of note ever dies.

Edit: And yes, Attack on Titan is worth your time. It is on Netflix so you can watch it in decent quality with your pajamas on.

Yeah, there's a lot of good twists and turns. Probably one of the best action anime out there

First off, I love this anime. Not just for the heavy gore and even the abuse scenes (I had to skip Levi kicking the **** outta Eren, I just couldn't handle that to save my life), and yes there is heavy gore so if you cannot handle gore I would avoid it, but mostly for the characters. The main cast is great and all, but they even take the time to go in depth with supporting characters. I loved this anime so much I volunteered my time and voice, pro bono, to do a fandub (which fizzled out after the anime was signed to be dubbed by funimation and removed from youtube and all of the other sites we posted it too ;;)

I would suggest watching the first episode, but beware it is... hella shocking. I watched it with my jaw dropped and my hand over my mouth, honestly. if you are okay with what you see, go forward, but if you are not, stop and move on to something else. That is just a taste of the series, and while the characters are amazing and the series doesn't have that much gore-- people do die, people get eaten and it is shown, so be ready for it if you go forward. And be ready for more shocking developments as you go. Some things I saw coming and others slapped me across the face like I never expected.

This ****ing anime has made me cry, scream in shock and I know the second season will make me scream and cry in utter agony loudly into my pillow. My favourite character is Nanaba and she is hella, my second favourite is freckled jesus aka Marco. You'll understand if you watch season one and two when it comes out.

Well said, Call.

I am not usually into action anime, and I hate when anime has a lot of blood.
But Attack On Titan left me on the edge of my sit every single episode. I can't wait for a second season ^^.
Also the soundtrack is glorious. I think I became a fan of the composer as soon as his first song started to play hahaha.

THIS. THIS THIS THIS.
There were some things, when I first watched the series, that were like a slap in the face, because you'd never expect it. I've seen people go in, expecting some action anime, and came out scared as **** when they finished watching. LISTEN TO CALLAWAY. Please.
