does anyone remember that era on animal crossing community where everyone shipped themselves with a villager? it was rolf for me, i still get war flashbacks... i also remember candy x chief was the real popular one

Omg, I wasn't apart of that community much, but I remember the candy x chief ship because I used to watch her youtube videos once in a while and she used to do a lot of videos based on the ship. Ngl her art for her character and chief was impressive and it's part of the reason I began to want Chief in town. Before that, I'd never really wanted him as a villager. Tbqh with you i've shipped myself with quite a few villagers over the years cringe including Chief.

I usually try to match the villagers in my town to each other, but not usually to my mayor. I like to think that Bob and Ankha are a couple because Ankha mentions hanging out with Bob sometimes.

I've lurked a little on ACC but never saw anything like that. The only major MayorxVillager thing I've heard of is some girl "marrying" Marshal or something like that. lol

Omg this is hilarious. I shipped my mayor with a Villager once, but I don't live vicariously through my characters. She has my name, and my tastes, but I consider her to be her own little character. I only just did this recently though, I occasionally ship my villagers, but I'm not a big shipper at all to begin with lol

I have never even heard of that however i am only 13 lol so if it is even old-ish i wont of heard about it, i have only really played q total of 5 years, may i ask when was it brought out? And i completely forgot Rolf was a villager for a second ha, how short my memories of Rolf are...
