Anyone playing BOTH ACNL and Tomodachi Life? (I need advice...)

If so, have you abandoned ACNL for now?

I still want to go back and forth between them, but because of the time traveling penalty on TL, I think that's going to be hard. How are you guys getting around that? Is there a cheat, or do you just put up with the TL penalty?

As you may know, for ACNL you need to pull the date back to the last time you played if you want to avoid villagers leaving.

I thought I could just change the time with the cart out, but I haven't tried it yet since I'm hesitating starting TL until I can put ACNL down for a good while. But I'll miss my villagers! :c

I kinda abandoned Tomodachi Life a week after I bought it (With regret). It's really boring imo.

I did abandon ACNL for a bit, only playing a few minutes a day while playing Tomodachi Life for hours. But I got bored of Tomodachi Life so I'm back playing ACNL. XP

But if you TT in game in ACNL with Isabelle, it will not affect Tomodachi Life. C:

I was considering getting tomodaichi life, but after a lot of reiews and finding out this time travelling thing, im not buying it.

I play both, but I've switched my main to ACNL. I haven't played Tomodachi Life in a few days.

I don't have TL but as for time traveling with the two games I've heard of people using new leaf's in game clock to TT so they don't risk messing up TL! c=

I play both, and just do all my TTing with Isabelle.

Sure, my villagers call me a time traveler, but this way I can fully enjoy both games. (I find it easy to balance the two, as TL is just a 15-minute-a-day sort of thing, while ACNL is a main.)

I've always TT'ed by changing the system clock. Is there any difference/risks involved with TT'ing with Isabelle? I'm kind of nervous about it, since I already have 4 characters, and can't make a new save file to check things out...

Well, the only real difference is that TTing with Isabelle will cause all your villagers to call you a Time Traveller (the rumour about you changes). Some people may not like this.

Playing both, but Tomodachi is just to past time waiting for trades tbh

Also - it really doesn't matter if you TT in ACNL
don't think it affects anything in Tomodachi

just don't use the 3DS Clock

Haven't abandoned, just spending a bit less time with it. I always play ACNL as soon as I get up and right before I go to bed. I play Tomodachi Life during the day.

I am playing ACNL again, however I will not be getting Tomodachi Life for awhile. I'm saving up for Super Smash Bros 3DS, KTD and Hyrule Warriors.
