Anyone notice way less pea butterflies after the update?

There's some rumbling going around that the pea butterflies were nerfed - anyone here notice this? It's raining on my Island today so I can't see for myself. Very sad - they were a really great bell maker for me.

That would be so sad if true... but I did notice I didn't come across a single one this morning even though I usually am swimming in them

I honestly wouldnt be surprised, I heard from some people that all it takes is one or two specific hybrids and then they spawn like crazy. I can't judge myself since I don't have any spawning on my island from lack of said hybrids

It seems like they're going really hard on "balancing" things like nerfing the interest rates and such. But there is such thing as over-balancing. It's already difficult enough to make bells unless you sell items online, farm for tarantulas or play the stock market carefully, and not everyone wants to do those. Fishing is just about as lucrative as you can get.

I have seen zero today, but around 3 madagascar sunset moths. Same price, but only flying around until 4 pm! :/ I rarely saw sunset moths until now so.....it looks like things have flip flopped for me. Missing my peac**k friends....

in March I used to get lots of pea butterfly’s now not so much there’s been a few patches so maybe they secretly nerfed the bugs spawn or it could be just me

I do feel like I've seen less of them, but more of the Madagascan Sunset Moth. I used to rarely see them, today I saw multiple flying around at the same time.

I don't feel like I've seen fewer, in fact I feel like I caught more this morning than any other morning. In addition, I've seen way more Sunset Moths

I caught one or two when I booted up the game this morning. They always seem to spawn quickly on black tulips. I hope they haven't become less common.

I actually havent seen any today now that you mention it. And I have a TON of blue flowers around my entrance and my house.

I haven't noticed that myself. I haven't seen any Madagascan sunset moths, but I only ever saw two of those, and that was the same day. But I did see and catch more Agrias butterflies than normal. Three of them in the short time I played earlier.

I haven't noticed less, but I agree I saw more Madagascan Sunset Moths. I caught 2 today so far, and normally I'm lucky to find 1. That could be coincidence though.

I got a bunch of them, along with Agrias Butterflies and Rajah Birdwings, which I usually don't see many of at all.

I haven't seen any today, but then again part of the day it's been raining on my island. If this is true, does it extend to other rare insects as well?

As far as I ever noticed, the PC Butterflies were the only ones that spawned disproportionately to how they should based on their value. So I doubt any other insects are effected

I don't know. Tarantulas were common as all get out on my island too. It's actually been better more recently, but I used to be able to get quite a few of them without doing much hunting.

I haven’t seen any, but I have noticed there seems to be a slight decrease of butterflies though. I remember there used to be giant swarms of them everywhere because I have a lot of hybrids.

I hope not! I don't have very many hybrids of the colors they spawn on so I haven't seen any yet.

I have definitely noticed this today. I had a Flick the other day, so I was catching a bunch. But today I didn't even see one during the hours I was playing this morning/early afternoon.

I hope it's not true, but... it definitely feels like it changed.
