Haha, hello, I hear a lot of people on here like to design their town, for example laying down paths etc.
I prefer to keep my town the way it is. Anyone with me? I feel guilty for not having a perfect looking town like everyone else seems to have

Thanks & have a nice day :)

it's great to have the all natural look. i don't mind it. i think imma keep my new town like that.

I'm designing my town, but not really at the same time. I'm not using paths and stuff, except for maybe some water paths. I'm just making my own dirt path by wearing down the grass. I feel like it would go against my goal of having a forested, rural, middle of nowhere theme to have it otherwise.

My daughters town looks very lovely. She doesn't use paths and likes it to look real natural.I spent hours decorating mine. She is happy with hers as it is.

If your daughter's town has a Dream Address, I'd love to see it.

Since my theme is tropical island, I've tried to keep it fairly organic. Strategically placing plants or trees to guide anyone visiting so it's not just a mess, lol. I've put in a few rustic paths mostly beside the cafe, town hall etc. I think it looks great.
I love the towns that have been planned within an inch of their lives but I don't think I've got it in me to do all that work.

I just started another new town and don't plan on decorating it.
It's a town that the villager can come and go. Place their houses where they like because they're not staying for very long.
I did put a few tiles down to try and make a natural pathway. I've been walking on them and will pull them up to see if it worked.

Few flowers around the villagers houses and buildings.

me! well, everything's all pretty around my house and I'll do decorating along the edges of town and such. but no paths or anything. it'll be pretty minimal overall.

I think I might have a pathway with flowers and bushes ^-^
I think that looks really cute! I love pathways but there are so many pretty ones to choose from >u<
I end up wanting them all =D

I'll use some bushes where I think they can work, but I find that paths just end up looking really messy when they intersect with cobblestone, so even if it looks great in the rest of the town, I always get thrown off when I see a few squares of cobblestone that can't be covered with a path. I've seen some towns really pull it off, but I don't plan on going path-heavy with mine. I admire those who can pull them off, though.

In general, I've found that every time I have a plan for an area of the town that I'd like to do something with, my villagers conspire in some way to ruin it. >:[

Me!

Although I will be putting down paths here and there, it won't be designed very much! I like to have different villagers, since I don't have dreamies, and if I put down paths, plot resetting is a pain in the ass!

I'm not doing anything special with my town. I tried paths once, they just didn't look very good, so I got rid of them. I've been to many dream towns that were built around themes and stories and although I liked how they looked I just couldn't see why somebody would want to put that much pressure on themselves. Just relax and enjoy the game.

I didn?t design my town, I like it to have a natural feeling, my trees are not organised, all over the place here and there as my villager houses are.
I have a few small paths in my town though, but really not as much as those overly decorated dream towns.

I'm not designing my town in any way. I love my town the way it is. I have flowers here and there near my house and around town but no massive flower fields. I feel terrible going to people's towns and mine looks untouched haha but I'm not fussed about how it looks. I just enjoy the game.

I wish I could leave mine natural, I have too many dirt patches everywhere and very little grass. I guess that's what happens when you run around your town too much, I'm new to the game so I didn't know that would happen. Most likely I'm gonna put tons of paths in my town, I just don't feel good leaving it like it is.

Paths are nice, but I love the way the grass looks so I don't know if I'll ever change the natural look of things other than planting some little flowerbeds and such.

My town used to be all natural but then randomly two days ago I decided I wanted a path and somewhat organized trees (my flowers were already organized when my town was natural). It was nice while it lasted except my grass looked atrocious so that pretty much urged me to change and design.

My town is also "wild". There are no paths. Also, I am not that meticulous about where I place PWP's. Villager houses land where ever they want to land. Yeah, I don't plan either and I like it that way. In fact, I didn't even pick my town lay out. Whatever the game gave me on day one is what I've stuck with. And wild flowers EVERYWHERE. :) It suits me just fine.

I don't design my town either, no interest in it at all, although I do love looking at other peoples.
