I don't have a town in June-August, so I can't help you there, but I just wanted to let you know that you won't be able to catch a Tarantula in another person's town. There are certain bugs that you can't catch while WiFi-ing with someone, and the Tarantula is one of them.
That being said, you're going to have to wait until June-August in your own town to catch a Tarantula, and you could just catch the Giant Snakehead then, but it would be good to finish your Fish Encyclopedia now since this weekend is the last Fishing Tourney for a while, and I'm guessing that you want your Golden Fishing Rod!
