Anyone have/know of some creepy towns?

My friend is thinking about making her town have kind of a creepy/weird/glitch type theme and I was wondering if any of you know of towns that follow a similar theme? I guess you could say something halloween-ish but that could be used year-round.

She's looking for ideas on what to do as well, so maybe some suggestions of paths/pwps/villagers/etc would help too.


Edit: I talked to her a bit more, and she wants to make her town look 'glitchy', like something is weird or messed up, if that helps. Not necessarily gore or scary but messed up.

I always try to visit horror towns. Most are pretty lame, but I've come across a few decent ones. If I ever get a second copy of the game, I'd want to give it a try.
