I try to avoid it because it always ends up being a huge time sink.

That site is trap. You could be stuck reading there for hours. I haven't been back in years but it's the reason I know the definition of my favorite thin- "woobie".

Sometimes. It's interesting to see what tropes go with what topic.

I would not recommend going on there at night. You'll get sucked in and the next thing you know it's past midnight.

Learning the different tropes is rather fun, and the catchy names of the trope pages certainly helps. I usually don't on on unless it's to look at the page for a game, show, or book that I have just finished though.
