Anyone excited for Yokai Watch?

I was so excited when they finally announced the English release of this game!

For those who don't know it's basically the new pokemon. Your play as a boy names Nathan who gets a watch that allows you to catch different ghosts and summon them in battle. It's huge in Japan. Has a ton of games and an anime coming too.

I really hope it becomes a success so we get the rest of the games in the series.
Also, Jibanyan is so damn cute.

I don't know too much about it, but I've watched some gameplay videos and it looks really good, love the art style and everything. I can't wait for it to be released over here!

it seems rather slowpaced, atleast till you got comfortable with the controls etc

I am very excited for this game! I've been looking forward to it for quite a few months now, ever since a friend of mine told me about it. I think it looks absolutely adorable. ^o^

I'm not yet sure if I want to get the game - I'm keeping my wye on it though.
It seems quite cool, and I like Pok?mon so if it is similar to that then that would be great.

The success in Japan is really great but I'm not quite sure how it will be perceived by the rest of the world - there doesn't seem to be all that much hype for the game.

I also read that, like Pokemon, it is easy to play but hard to master so it should still be accessible to older gamers.

Does anyone know when the game is coming out in the UK?

I might get it though , but can any one explain to me what kind of game play is yokai watch gonna be. Cause so far from what I seen it looks like some sort of an rpg kinda game and it also looks similar to Pokemon in a way c.c..

I'm looking forward to the English release. Maybe by then I won't be so terrible at it.
Compared to Pokemon, it's not as easy to "catch" Yo-Kai, since you need to know their favourite food and even then, it doesn't guarantee you'll get them to befriend you.

I am STOKED for Youkai Watch. It looks absolutely fantastic. The tunes are rad too, the first game has one of my favourite final boss themes ever. I can't wait to get my grubby paws on it. Sailornyan is a cutie.

Also, much respect to the translators. Localizing a text-goliath Japanese RPG ABOUT Japanese culture must not be an easy feat.

It was in 2013 when it first game out in Japan, but now two years later I've got to play more Level 5 games and found out I just don't like them that much.
The Layout games are the only games I can stand but everything else just feels so tedious to play through. It looks like there's a lot of charm to it which Level 5 is known for but the gameplay looks weak.
