Anyone ever have trouble letting go of a villager?

I usually have a hard time letting my villagers go, even if I don't like them that much. I thought I would start missing Hamlet and Angus, two of my favorites, a lot when they got to my shopping district. It's actually not that bad because I can always talk to them if I want. Actually, I find myself missing them less because they are still (kind of) around. For me, seeing villagers in boxes is the hardest part.

I have this problem a lot! I usually have to turn off my game and just think about it. Just a few minutes ago Cookie asked me to move and I had to think about it for a while. I finally decided to let her go. It was a hard choice. She is adorable.

That is why I have dreamies, so I don't have to get rid of ones I really love. Although once I had Rosie and liked her, almost enough to keep her, but decided to let her go.

That's how I felt about Savannah. Everytime she would ask to move I really thought about it, and one day I just went out on a whim and let her go, and it turned out to be a great decision. The very next day I won my bae Stitches in a giveaway! c:

I have this problem with every single villager I let move esp my starters... even if some were... I guess gross by some ppl's definitions, I still felt a sense of... idk emptiness?? when they left... like I honestly didn't care much for Biff but was still sad when he left even though he's a ugly hippo lol sigh

one villager I really still miss and had trouble letting go was Blanche.... but in the end she just had to go to make room for a peppy (had none at the time), and because I could NEVER find her for some reason??? idk if she was hiding behind trees all the time or what... but I still miss her

Sometimes, especially ones I had a long time. Even if they aren't one of my dreamies and they tell me about moving, I have second thoughts of letting them go. Today as an example, Kyle moved out of my town. I really liked him and would have loved to let him stay, but his house was in such! a bad spot that I personally had no choice as to let him go. I wish I had known of plot resetting sooner...

Oh yes. Filbert and Drago. I ended up letting both go. I still miss Drago a lot. Thankfully, I moved him to my baby brother's town.

Yeah, Apollo. I feel really close to him lately, but as far as Cranky villagers go, I'd much rather have Tom or Chief. I'm thinking about just having Apollo stay until I can get his picture, but that could take forever. So I'm really conflicted.

it's very tough! I let Shep go because I wanted Julian. I do kinda miss Shep but I feel like I made the right choice, maybe.

I do miss Kid Cat, though. I like him better than my current jock. but I don't want to do the 16 cycle. I let Kid Cat go because I was having a hard time TT-cycling Bella out and I had someone holding Merengue for me, who I adore. So I don't regret letting Kid Cat go for Merengue? but I wish Bella just would have pinged so I didn't have to let him go.

I dunno, every time Flora asks me to move, I have to sit and think for a while. (...) She's actually just told me she's planning on moving out again. I have the game on pause because I can't make up my mind lol. I think I'm ultimately going to tell her goodbye, though.

That's a bit funny actually. I've been thinking about letting my Flora go. Once I told her to go but changed my mind after a few days and convinced her to stay. I'm still not sure whether I should keep her or not.

Yeah I really love Colton, he was my second ever move in after Shari, but his house is in the way of where I want to put a bridge, there are a lot of other smug villagers I like, but his "prince charming" look just suits the smug personality so perfectly that I'm not sure it'll be the same. The only one I think I could consider replacing him with is Julian, but he's a pain to get hold of and I feel Colton's a bit more unique as you don't see him nearly as much. Beau's house is also in an awkward place, so I'm debating letting him go as well, I don't feel as attached to him as Colton, but he's sooo cute, idk what to do ;-;

that's me with chrissy, love that bunny, but she has been in front of my camping area for a long time, and possibly a bridge area. I've almost let her go, but have not been able too...Also with fang, my last original...i'm not that crazy about him anymore, but he is my last original...that's why its so hard.

I never had let go of a villager ever since i started but I stopped playing but I've been thinking that 6 out of 9 villagers could go so I'd get new villagers
