Anyone else with no New Year's Eve plans except celebrating in their town?

Title explains it! I'm just wondering if anyone else is planning on spending New Year's Eve alone tonight, with no plans other than relaxing and celebrating with their town and villagers. Asking so I feel less lame about not going out

Me too, i don't usually go anywhere because i'm not the party animal type. celebrating with my game or close family/friends is good for me

I don't think I'm celebrating, it's a last minute thing in finding out if my partner's available on most holidays.
I was going to make a dinner, but the timing didn't work out.
The most celebratory thing I've done is change my 3DS's background.

I went to a New Year's party earlier during the weekend (most of my friends work tonight), so tonight I'll be celebrating it in my town too.

Yup, my New Year's Eve tradition since the dawn of 2011 (when I got Wild World) is sitting in my house and doing the AC New Year's countdown. I haven't played AC actively since like April of this year, but I'm still loading up my town at 11:30 because it just wouldn't be New Year's otherwise!

i live with my fianc? but neither of us are the partying type so we just watched the fireworks from our balcony and then i celebrated with my sweet villagers.

I've had my town countdown open pretty well all day. 40 more minutes until 2019! I've never watched a New Leaf countdown, so this is gonna be exciting.

It's currently 2019 here in Pennsylvania! Unfortunately my 3DS died so I can't start the new year with my villagers.

I had a friend over. We went to watch the official fireworks, then had dinner at my mom's apartment before we watched some TV and then went to watch the fireworks at around midnight. After that we played a bit of Mario kart and when I went to bed, I had new years eve in my game aswell. I've never had that before, so it was interesting to see. I stayed for arund 30 mins watching the fireworks in my game.

I fell asleep before it could happen, and I'm mildly considering TT just to catch the fireworks

My 3DS clock was a few minutes ahead (and I wasn't aware of it), so I celebrated the New Year with all my three characters
It is my first time playing the game, so everything was brand new
