I've gotten exactly zero villagers in my campsite so far that I'd want to keep. The only time I've considered keeping a villager from my campsite so far was when a lazy came through there while I didn't have a lazy on my island. I ended up giving up on them though due to it taking forever to win a card game after which they would always try to kick out one of my "keeper" villagers.

Going back to New Leaf and now New Horizons, I have never once ever been fond of a villager that was visiting my campsite. Sometimes I even walk in, see the villager and just walk out right away.
