Anyone else really not like the new sound of villager humming?

You might be confused at what I mean by this. I mean for example the sound animals make when humming to music - not when they are singing along, because that is very cute! You hear this sound at villager birthday parties and also if you ask Isabelle to sing the town tune you hear it as well. It seems like the developers were trying to make a more realistic sound at humming instead of just having the music notes sound effect like in older games, but I don't know... it just seems really out of place to me and sounds weird. Anyone else with me?

I totally agree! I was a bit shocked when I first heard Isabelle sing because in new leaf I loved her voice. I dunno what the devs were aiming for here, but it’s kinda hilarious haha

Yeah, I thought Isabelle might have had laryngitis when I first heard it. I almost thought it was a bug. It sounds really awful and weird to me as well!

I also thought it was atrocious. So much so that I busted out my chair laughing after hearing Isabelle sing, lol! She sounds like a drunk harmonica and I wasnt expecting it at all

they definitely could've done a better job.. isabelle lucky she cute (and can't be replaced) with that kind of performance haha but in all seriousness, not sure what they were going for with this one

yeah, it's definitely awful haha. i'm going to try my hardest to not change my town tune because of this, or at least mute it.

Do other villagers hum? I dislike the way Isabelle sounds but luckily I only need to hear it once.

When I heard Isabelle hum my town tune for the first time I just started hysterically laughing what hell happened Isabelle

When Isabelle started humming I was shocked. It sounds like it is from a horror movie. The other villagers on the other hand sound fjne when they hum, but I seem to partially recognize the tune the villagers hum but I can't quite figure out what it is.
