Splatoon Anyone else having online issues?

So I know that there are some people out there talking about this, but not many. What I mean is after the 2.1 update for Splatoon, a lot more people were have connection issues and during a match it would always disconnect. I know this is truth because I ha e experienced first hand. Before the 2.1 update there were no connection issues at all, expect for on the transformers splatfest which it happened a couple of times, probably because it was a splatfest and a lot if people were playing it. But after 2.1 pretty much almost every single match I play it disconnects. This is very bad expecially on ranked, I can't tell you how many times I have went down ranks just trying to play the game, and I get punished for nintendos bad servers. I didn't just see a thread about this yet so I'm just goi g to right now, I want to know if any of you guys have had this problem or what your opinions are on it.

I am watching the 'Inkstorm' tournament on Twitch. Grand Finals were brought to a halt temporarily when several players got kicked because, as the error message indicated, Nintendo servers are full, heh.

Yeah I've been getting the connection unstable message constantly. The other day I got it five times in a row, but even then it only happens in Turf War.

Besides that, lag has been awful. It takes me like six hits to splat someone with my .52 Deco. More often than not I'll stand there shooting at someone over and over and either my shots won't connect or they'll splat me and never explode from my hits afterwards. Also snipers can somehow see when I'm hiding in ink since I'll just be sitting there and then they'll suddenly aim right where I am and splat me.

I swear Splatoon isn't worth playing anymore.

I've experienced getting frequent 'connection unstable' prompts last week but thankfully, I haven't gotten any the past several days. It's worse when you're playing ranked. Hope that yours will be fixed soon.

You don't need to worry too much about that. Encountering a hacker is pretty much as rare as winning the lottery.
