Anyone else do this?

So a while ago, I caught both the tarantula and scorpion and donated them to my museum.
I still look for tarantulas and scorpions. Not to catch them though.
What I do, is I run around town with my net out. When I see a scorpion/tarantula, I try to provoke it and get it to chase me. Then I go crazy taking pictures, I talk to villagers to see their reactions, and I see how long I can keep it chasing me before it bites me/despawns.
I've been having a lot of fun with this xD. Anyone else do this or am I just weird?

I don't do this at all, when I see them I catch them like its a shiny pokemon.

I used to do that with the bees. You also get some hilarious reactions from the villagers if you talk to them. My favorite ones are from the Jock and Lazy villagers. The Jocks say, "What?! That's a bee swarm! Leave this to me! I'll chase them away for you! ... Wait... Sorry! Can't do it!" The Lazy villagers say, "Oh no! Bees! Did you wake them up from their nap time? ... You probably deserve it then." You can also get some funny pictures of you being mauled by the bees while the villagers just stand there watching the whole thing.

I've never tried it with a tarantula or scorpion before, though. I didn't know that the villagers reacted to them as well! I'm so tempted to try this now.

I've donated both to the museum, but I still try to catch them if I see them around town, just so I can make some quick Bells.

I've caught neither of them, but being chased by a tarantula or scorpion sounds like a fun game to try the next time I stumble across one!

Now that I've caught them both and have them in my Museum, I do. Too bad I rarely come across them because they're so rare. It's fun to run around like crazy and to laugh at the villagers' reactions.

Last time I did that, I was near the Train Station and accidentally ran inside it. Totally ruined the fun because I lost my scorpion.

I'm done with the tarantula and have extras for villagers request. So I'll have to try it.
Still need an extra scorpion for a villagers request.

Disappointed that the tarantula only gives 8K. It should be worth a lot more.
