Anyone else despise mosquitoes?

I, too, hate mosquitoes. I don't usually notice their buzzing sound too often. At least it's not as worse as cicada noises, oh goodness...

I think cicadas are way more annoying because they're much louder. There's one cicada that sounds like a car alarm going off.

For some reason I laughed really hard reading this then immediately thought of this and watched it

LMAO.. anyway yeah annoying little things they are indeed, though it does compare to them in real life.. for some reason i'm prone to be getting bit, thus I don't go outside.. Like ever.

Just like in RL the game version is just as annoying. Trying to do a little late night fishing from the pond, que Jaws theme...I mean que mosquito buzzing so I have to pull up the rod and move away before getting that annoying itchy itch message.

Omg yes! They are soo annoying. I had this thing where it would irratate me if I let them bite me so I felt I had to catch them. But it's so annoying when im in the middle of doing something, like catching a fish etc and I have to stop what Im doing just to catch a annoying mosquitoe. In the end it finally got to a point where I now just run away or let them bite me lol

That bzzzzzzzz sound is annoying. I remember I ALMOST got a shark in WW. If it wasn't for that gddmm mosquito I'll got a shark.

Ughh I hate the mosquitoes. And what is worse is when they gang up on you. One time I was watering my flowers at night and three mosquitoes were following me the entire time.

I do admit that it makes watering my flowers more exciting

I was laying paths a few weeks ago and I could see two of them constantly zoning in on me. It was almost as terrifying as when I see a scorpion.

They really get on my nerves since I constantly go idle when I want to do my own stuffs etc and then I hear mosquitoes buzzing around my character and getting bitten.. it's fine if it doesn't happen so much but like every few minutes another mosquito comes and bites your character it's driving me insane

It's not so much the mosquitoes, but the ritual the game goes through when you get bit! Stop everything, play silly womp-womp music and display a message that needs a click to continue. So unnecessary! It would be better if you just got bit and your face turned red (or something) for a second to acknowledge it (if the developers insist on keeping this in the game).

How about the ridiculous spawn rate of jellyfish while in the ocean? Maybe that deserves a thread of it's own.

The jellyfish thing is more annoying! especially when you are doing the public work reset thing and hiding in the sea area for 10 minutes, and you cant just leave your character still as they keep getting stung

I know! When I tried the 'hang out in ocean' trick my character kept getting stung and I felt so bad that I just couldn't watch it anymore! I still stayed in the water, but I dived down whenever a jellyfish appeared hoping that it wouldn't make a difference. Not sure if the trick worked or if it was coincidence, but 3 PWP were recommended the next couple of days, just not the police station.

Ugh I hate the jellyfish thing too. They seem to pop up wherever I go. Is there any way to catch them? Another thing that annoys me is bees. They make it literally impossible to run from them! I'm pretty sure you can run away in real life if you are fast enough. I hate having to find somebody's house to run into, half the time I get to a house they are either not home or sleeping and I'm never close enough to main street or retail to make it there. -_- Not to mention your character looks like they got punched afterwards. I carry around sunglasses for that reason lol, it's so unattractive.
