Hi guys! Are any of you planning a new town? I am. I have decided to do a woodsy-foresty theme with these characters:
Bloom:(lives in cottage in flower field, mayor) Fairies are safe.
Resin:(Lives in house with upstairs in a dense forest) Bloom hid some eggs
Nora (COL time! Lives surrounded by windmills) Do you believe?
Snow (lives at center of maze): I've tried hiding...

Post what your planning. I'm curious.

Always... I've got too many ideas tbh. Trying to implement them all in one way or another haha.

Autumn forest (of course)
Spring forest
Old ruinous town
Zen town
Something with fairies
Beach theme town
Pastel town
Town with the "darker villagers"

I should just stick to one and see it through probably...

Q: Anybody planning up a new town?

A: Definitely me. I've been trying to get my Town Tree big enough to sell to Tom Nook. Was able to do it and now I am looking for the right map and the right placement for stuff. The theme that I was going to go for was a theme where it would tell a story about myself. Not sure it if it would be possible to do that. If I'm not able to do it then I'll just try a different idea and see where it would lead me.

I'm actually a little interested in picking up a second copy of ACNL just to make a new town. :p I really love my current town, so I'd rather not reset or completely remodel it.

I visited Onigiri the other day, so making a horror town seems pretty fun! Either horror or modern/beach town imo.

I just reset my cycling town and made another normal secondary one. Took a break from the game/community for a bit and was starting to have the itch to play again haha. My second town is named Bayside, I want to make it a small fishing village themed town!

kind of, yeah! if I can find a cheap copy (they're all like ?30 ew) I'm gonna make a year-round winter town :D

Uuuugh, I am not sure. I am so in love with my town right now in some ways, but I don't want to get rid of it. I don't think I have the patience to buy a new game card and manage two towns as well. UGH.

I did, i restarted Jadeberg because there was hardly enough room to put anything else. I restarted it, but I can't put up the time with it to develop the new town.

Yes, actually, I have an idea (or 2) but I need to buy another card (or 2) for it. (like I need more towns...)

pfft probably gonna make my other town super woodsy with dirt paths and such.

Yeppo! I just brought my new copy a couple of months ago for around ?40 (Brand new, wished I could of gotten a second hand one as it prob of been cheaper although couldn't find any in town ^^) and working on a 'spooky' themed town, its going alright nearly finished the landscaping! ^^

Just yesterday I started my second town. I forgot how little you can do in the beginning. Nothing really planned yet, other than trying not to make the two towns too similar to each other.

I have sixteen towns:
Cocoplum is flower and fairy tale-centric.
Oyster is my seaside/pirate village with all the octopus and what I deem pirate-ish villagers.
Harvest is my town dedicated to all things Coco. The main color scheme is orange.
Tarot is one of my occult towns dedicated to my love of witchcraft.
Big Bear is my all bear town.
Thistle is my forest town.
Kakariko is my town dedicated to Kakariko Village from Breath of the Wild.
Feather is my all bird town, but I have included some other villager-types since all birds wasn't as fun as I expected.
Misfit is based on the Island of Misfit Toys from Rudolph and has lots of villagers most people dislike, like Tabby.
Shika is my all deer town.
Le Ciel is my French town.
Tea Cozy is my pastry town with food villagers like Tangy, Ketchup, Tia, Merengue, etc.
Toyland is based off the 1930's March of the Wooden Soldiers film and is based off Mother Goose fairytales.
Corvidae is the town I made just for me: the Mayor has my real name and it's simply filled with villagers and PWP's I like.
Fable is my Japanese fairy-tale town.
Dawn is my all rabbit town dedicated to the goddess Ostara whose familiars are rabbits. (Easter is the holiday in which she is celebrated, therefore, rabbits).
Ostara is the town I made before Dawn. I was going to restart it with a new name, but ended up LOVING the map and all the villagers who moved into it. It's pretty flower-centric, but hasn't truly found an official theme. I just love it.
My next town is going to be named Coven. Another occult town. I think I am going to have alligators, frogs, make it a bit swampy.

I think I named them all :)

Every time I get bored with Animal Crossing that is my go to, start a new town and start decorating and landscaping away. Not only does it help with my anxiety and depression but it's a great creative outlet, so I'm always working on new towns.

If I get bored I always think of starting again on acnl. But I want to keep the town I have so I might get another copy of acnl soon lol

I have a super pink pastel town named Clover. I'm also working on a brand new town named Macaron! It's going to have a modern theme, which I've never done before. I've done both pastel and woodsy...both on Clover. I would not recommend a complete theme overhaul for the faint of heart; it took me quite a while, haha. I think it was definitely worth it, though.

I just started a new town with a Skies of Arcadia theme. It has four of the characters and will have zen themed PWPs and animals representing all corners of the globe.

My first town wasn't planned at all, but it's been fun to go in with a definite idea of what I want this time.

I have a digital copy and a physical copy in the same 2DS so it's easy to swap from one town to another.

I am currently in the early early stages of planning a new town. I really want to make a Ru Paul's Drag Race themed town because I love that show so much and I haven't seen any other town with the same theme. My mayor would be Mama Ru (of course) and all villagers would be the ones with big lips and eye lashes... I don't have quite enough ideas to get started yet, and my current town is a bit of a lovable handful right now, but I do have a copy ready to go when I am... :)
