Anybody a member of Club Old Leaf?

Animal Crossing is a kid's game, but in order to prove that ACNL isn't only for kids, there's a club out there that definitely shows that AC isn't only for kids. I'm not a member of Club Old Leaf since I'm too young, but are there any TBTers that are members? This isn't an advertisement thread, and I want to know what it's like to be in an Animal Crossing fanbase dominated by people ages 36 and up.

I have never heard of this! I quickly looked it up to get an idea of it, but I'm assuming it's a site where members who are adults put their town name and FC so people can play together? I can see why that would be a thing!

I didn't know that this existed either! I think it's really cool because I can never see myself giving up video games and if Animal Crossing is still around for whatever reason, I'm always going to forever play it. It's pleasing to know that people from a generation different from ours can enjoy these games and I hope I can continue too as well

Is it an actual group? I am 56 and love animal crossing. When I'm on the Island and someone asks everyone's age and I say 56 they either don't believe me or 'error' game I'm seriously thinking about lying about my age on there lol

The name sounds familiar but I can't recall where I heard about it. I'm not sure if I could join if it's 36 + and I'm in my 20s but I might try. Almost all of the friends on my AC best friend list are in their 20s and older so I know there's a lot of adult players and must be more out there .

Club old leaf is from gamefaqs. It's been around for over a year and new members join all the time. The people are very nice, helpful, and trustworthy. You can hang out with other adults and not have to worry about your hybrids getting destroyed or stolen. They also help eachother get certain items.

Gamefaqs also has the pascaliwags club. It's for people 19 +. They are also a very nice group of players. Theres quite a few members on there that I completly trust in my town. They're also very helpful and generous.

It's always so nice to see people that didn't grow up with this stuff playing these kind of games. I hope I'll be the same when I'm that age with new games that kids will play then. Such an interesting thought, thanks for this.

Aw, that happened to me once too. Luckily I've only been asked my age once. The person that asked was 14 and when I told her I was 53, she said "Really?" and then she errored me. I was upset by the whole thing. I'm thinking of just not saying my age and saying that I'm an older player. Then maybe if they press for an age, I'll just go on a tour or something.

They do start getting old when they begin their middle age life (35 to 64), but yeah, 50 is when they are considered "old". But it's not bad to be old while playing New Leaf.

OMG! I need to look this up!!! I'm 35 and have played since 2003 when I got AC for gc. Has been my fav game ever since!!! (Though I DO luv mk, SSB, and mario golf, too as my next 3) but I play AC the most.

35 is old enough. I only mentioned 36 since Generation X is almost no longer 35 years old (Baby Boomers passed 50 now). 30 is the minimum age to join Old Leaf. I like the name, but I'm still young.

I bet COL is the best AC community out there.
